"I'm spinning out of control

Not knowing which way to go
Feelin' left out in the cold

I just wanna let go of it all and climb up over the wall
I need some help to get back on my feet
If you're out there cover me" Thousand Foot Krutch ~ Outta Control

"October Grayves!"

I looked up from my phone to my teacher. "Timothy Reigns?" I asked him with a smirk.

He glared at me. "It's Mr. Reigns." he growled. "Put your phone away! We're in homeroom, not at home!"

"No." Two of my friends looked at me like I was crazy, so I shrugged at them and glared at Mr. Reigns.

He walked towards my desk and tried grabbing my phone.

"Get the EFF away from me rapist!" I yelled before punching his nose. There was a loud crunch as my fist hit it.

Mr. Reigns pulled away with a stunned and pained expression while covering his bloody, broken nose. "Get out of my classroom, and go straight to ISS. I'm sure Mr. Collins would love to hear this story."

I laughed at his messed up voice. It was pretty funny to hear one of the strictest teachers with a voice like that. "No." I told him when I stopped.

Some kids snickered as his face turned red with anger. "Get. Out. NOW!" he yelled through gritted teeth.

When he tried grabbing my arm, I stood up and glared at him. "Do you really want a black eye to go with your broken nose?"

We glared at each other for a minute, and just as he opened his mouth to speak, the bell rang. I grinned before grabbing my stuff and leaving the room, my friend Brian right behind me.

"October, you're insane. You're gonna get suspended for doing that."

I looked at Brian and shrugged. "So? I have Christian's house. I'll be fine there."

Brian shook his head with a small sigh. "Just wait 'til Dazy finds out..."

"I will." I said with a grin. We ran to our lockers before going outside to see a group of people near the side of our school.

"Brian! October!"

I turned around to see Dazy's boyfriend, Kyle, running towards us. "What?" I asked when he stopped.

"Dazy's getting the shiz beat outta her! I can't even get past the crowd cause it's so big!" he said while panting.

"What?!" I threw my stuff at the two of them and took off towards the crowd. I shoved everyone out of my way and stopped when I saw the three new guys beating my sister. Dazy was curled up on the ground, with bruises on her arms as she blocked some punches. "Get away from her!" I yelled before punching one guy.

He grunted as I punched him numerous times and was too fast for him to even touch. Before he fell, the two other guys were starting to beat me. I easily knocked out one of them, but the last guy was too hard for me to punch, or even kick. We glared at each other, and right before we could do anything, the crowd disappeared.

"October Grayves! Jayden Johnson! Both of you, to my office NOW!" the principal, Mr. Collins, yelled.

I shot a glare at him before turning to where Dazy was. Brian and Kyle were helping her up.

"NOW!" he yelled again.

Jeez, he was ticked. I crossed my arms over my chest before following him and the other guy inside.

Mr. Collins led us to his office, and slammed the door shut behind us. When I sat in his chair, he glared at me. "Get up."

" 'Kay." I said with a shrug. I stood up and sat on his desk, which ticked him off even more.

"Sit on the chair next to Jayden." he told me through gritted teeth.

"And Jayden is in here with us because....?"

"Because you two were fighting. Now sit down!"

I sat next to the guy I was fighting and watched Mr. Collins. He was going to yell at me and threaten to expel me, as usual. As he yelled at us, I looked at Jayden or Hayden- whatever his name was- and took in his appearance. He had jet black hair with a royal blue colored tips, and grey eyes. He was pale, and most of his hair covered his eyes and face.

Jayden was different compared to my twin Dazy and myself. We both were a little pale, and had dirty blond hair. Those two things were the only parts of us people could look at and guess we're twins. But I have royal blue eyes, and she has emerald green. That and part of our personalities made us different than each other.

Mr. Collins caught my attention as he finished his yelling. "If this happens again, you both will be expelled without any warnings."

"You wouldn't do that to me." I told him.

He glared at me before glancing back at the other kid. "As a punishment for what you two did, you both will have after school detention for three weeks."

I shot up and glared at him. "No!"

"Want to make it five weeks?"

"Shut up!" the other kid hissed at me.

I ignored him and kept glaring at the principal. "I don't have to do what you say." I told him before turning around and leaving. As I walked outside, I heard Brian, Dazy, and Kyle.

"October, wha-"

I cut off Kyle and shook my head. "Nothing happened! Let's go." We walked in silence to my older brother Christian's house. When we got there, I threw my bag and school stuff in my room and heard Christian asking what happened in the kitchen.

"What the hell did you guys do?!" he asked while glaring at us.

"Someone was fighting Dazy with his friends, so October knocked out two of them and probably got detention for getting caught again." Kyle explained.

"October, what did you do?"

"Kyle already explained." I said. Before Chris said anything else, I tugged at Brian's sweater and turned towards my room. "Come on..." I mumbled.

"You really have to look at yourself." he told me when we were in my room.

"Why?" I looked in the mirror above my dresser and froze. I had a black eye, bruises forming on my cheeks and arms, and some of my knuckles were bleeding. "Damn..." I said softly. "They're good."

Brian groaned and rolled his eyes. "Is that all you say after a fight? 'Damn, they're good.' or 'Fricken pussies.' ?"

I shrugged. "I guess..."

He sighed and pulled his phone out of his pocket. "Hey, I got to go... I'll be here tomorrow morning, 'kay?"

"Fine..." I gave him a hug before falling on my bed. "You better be here tomorrow morning. Oh, can you tell Chris I'm going to bed soon?"

"Anyone would know after one night what really happens when you say you're 'going to bed'." he told me. "I'm surprised Chris hasn't realized it yet."

I grinned as he left. Chris just thinks the fights make me tired... Grabbing some clothes and my ipod, I went to my bathroom and turned on the shower. After quickly stripping down, I let the hot water just barely calm me by running down my back. Only three people know how to calm me down after a fight, especially since after the accident... A pang in my heart made me grasp the shower curtain. It was my fault they were dead, and I’d never forgive myself.
