' Old Friend ' Shadowy Figure X Reader

# 1 Meeting Shadowy

It had been years since you last seen your old friend, Professor Venomous. After acting strangely for a few months , he started to push you away, just as you and his relationship was starting to get serious. Shortly after, he disappeared, trying to protect you... But from what? You kept wondering what he could be protecting you from. You sat in your living room, watching the news, hearing about this strange, mysterious person, called ' Shadowy Figure.' You had heard of him before, and he often hides out in the sewers of Lakewood, supposedly catching ' Glorbs. '

You are basically a researcher, you study things usually from the internet, and wrote down your observations from what you learned. You've done a lot of research on glorbs, learning that they cause people to become turbo. You even wrote down things about Shadowy, learning that he was, in fact, glorb crazy.

Shadowy reminded you of Venomous, somehow. There was something about him that seemed slightly familiar... You just couldn't quite put your finger on it. You planned to go out at night, and try and catch Shadowy, and where the glorbs came from.

You grabbed your notebook, phone, and a pack. You put the notebook in the bag, and put your phone into your pocket, in case of an emergency.

You were going to take notes from the source the glorbs came from. You left your cozy apartment, and walked outside to the dark streets of Lakewood. You made sure to wear a jacket, as it was early fall, and it was cold.

You walked into the Plaza, where all the stores lights were off, except for Gars, possibly open 24 hours. Just then, you saw a blue light, a glorb! It floated away, and you followed it. It led you to the back of the Bodega, were it flew into a big tunnel. You hoped from the ledge, and went into the dark entrance.

The glorb had led you to a room with a tree. The Glorb tree to be exact. Just as you were to pick up a glorb, you heard a deep voice say, " Well, hello there." You felt heat of a person behind you, you quickly turned around, and gasped. " Shadowy Figure..."

He chuckled. " That's me, sweetheart~" You couldn't help, but blush lightly. You snapped out of it, and just looked at him. He looked back at you, with a smirk, then his gaze went tp your pack. You backed up, and he stepped forward, you turned to run, but he caught you, and hung you upside down, so that your bag slipped off, and your phone fell in the water. " Aw, c'mon! That phone was expensive!" You whined. Shadowy didn't seem to care, he dropped you carelessly on the ground, where you hit your head ont the root of the tree.

Shadowy had found your notebook, and read through it. " Hey! That's private information, you snoop!" You yelled. " Not anymore..." He said, with that same stupid smile on his face. Your face grew hot with anger.

As soon as he seen enough, he tossed your notebook, and it landed in the water as well. " Seriously?? " You growled. He stood over you, and you looked up at him. " I have to go now, it was fun playing with you~" He purred. " Yeah, whate-" he then kissed your cheek. Your face burned up. Shadowy soon left, and you just stood there for a while before you went home. What just happened? You thought.
