Who is the real monster?

"Now, what is your secret?" He asked seductively as my sweat fall down from my forehead. I've never experienced a kind of pressure like this. I look at him suspiciously, trying to know his own motivation. I won't dare to break this silence because if I do, I might say my own weakness to him.

"Don't be afraid, Allan." He said while looking at me with his scary look. He smirked and continued " You are not the only one who has a secret here. So if I were you, I will just say it to the person who can't walk freely like me"

As I heard that statement, my mind changed and I didn't hesitated to say "My father always thinks that I am the monster but I can say that it was Charles who is always hiding behind the mask and always making me look bad in our father's eyes". He smiled widely like a champion who won everyone's heart. I quickly regret what I said but it's too late now. He grabbed my hand and said "If I left this place then expect me to go after you and we will be buddies forever". I didn't know what to say because my mind is now full of regret.

He said a lot of things about him and my father. He was about to say his last words to me but then he looked at my back and said " Oh hello, Mr. Vallesgher". My eyes widened and I quickly looked at my back to see my father. He looks so nervous and afraid. He quickly ran to me and grab my arms. "Guard! Guard" he shouted. 2 guards quickly entered the room and put a handcuff to Mr. Jeremy. My dad, without thinking, quickly pulled me out of that room and brought upstairs. He gave me to Ms. Hanna and said " Don't let him go again" then he went back downstairs. Ms. Hanna looked at me in the eyes and asked "Where have you been? Where is your brother?" Giving me a worried look as if she is a mother of unfortunate children. I can't answer her due to the fact that I've been in a serious pressure that leads me to a very serious mental breakdown. She just hold my hand and walk towards to the exit. But then the policemen, who interrogated me, blocked us as they show the toothpicks that made me shivers me a little bit. "Hey genius kid" the old man said while leaning towards to me. "You're right" he continued in a very monotonous tone. "Indeed, he is really a brilliant child." the other man said looking at me curiously. Well I didn't really mean to impress them. Ms. Hanna interrupt them and said "Gentlemen, I apologize for interrupting but we need to go". They just said nothing and left without a word while me and Ms. Hanna continue to walk towards the exit. As we reach the exit, we are quickly pulled by someone from behind. So we looked at the back to know who is it and I was surprise from what I saw.

It was my brother.

Ms. Hanna put her attention to my brother and said "Where have you been mister?".

Charles smiled and said " I went to the bathroom to find my brother and he is not there but then I had to pee, so I stayed in the bathroom for a little bit and went back again."

Ms. Hanna believed of what Charles said. We just waited for father to finished his work so we can go home. As minutes passed by, our father was still inside of the police station. We got hungry that's why Ms. Hanna left us for a moment to buy us some food. Minutes of silence passed by but no one dares to break that unbearable silence. That's why I dare to break it but when I was about to talk, my brother spoke.

"Why did you said it to him?" He said in a cold voice. His eyes were sharper than it was before and that makes me shivers a little bit.

"What do you mean, brother?" I asked without hesitation. As I stated those words, his eyes widened and he looked at me with anger written all over his face. I quickly step back as he looked at me. It feels like I am being hunted by a monster. He didn't speak at first but when he did my world suddenly darken and I felt terrible inside.

"Are you STUPID!? OR JUST AN INNOCENT ANGEL!? Don't you just know what you did back there!? Or you just don't care about what you said to that flippin 'Bad person' in that dirty prison or should I say interrogation room or whatever!?"
