Team GOLD headed out to the city wandering around going in and out of shops.
Dio: Why did we choose to walk around the city instead of relaxing at some place?
Kira: They say that you grow most in the face of adversity. Or something like that.
Dio: But my legs say otherwise. They feel like they'll implode at any moment here.
Jotaro: Good grief, if it matters that much then we'll find someplace to chill out and get food. Y/N do you know any places?
Y/N: Yeah, I know a few places. Why do you ask?
Jotaro: I can speak for myself when I say I tend to stay at Beacon and those 2 crazy people never leave much either.
Y/N: Ah, that makes more sense. How do you guys feel about hanging out at a cafe? It's a few blocks east.
Dio: My legs will collapse by then. Can you carry me Y/N?
Kira: Jeez, what's got you acting all lovey dovey with Y/N all of a sudden?
Dio blushes at the statement while Y/N keeps walking facing forwards heading to LeBlanc Cafe.
Dio: That's not how it is Kira! I'm just super tired is all!
Jotaro: Were you super tired when you got in his bed too?
Dio: Y-yes but that's not the issue!
The conversation dulls as they end up in front of the Cafe where Y/N stops and heads inside.
Y/N: Hello! Anybody home?
Y/N is greeted by a younger man than last time he was here. He had black sort of messy hair, glasses, and an apron on.
Y/N: Hey you're not the old man, who're you?
???: My name is Akira but some people call me Ren. Nice to meet you.
Y/N: I'm Y/N nice to meet you too but, Where's the old man at? I thought I'd see him here.
Akira: He's out getting more coffee beans and other curry ingredients.
Y/N: That's a little unfortunate. Oh well. Take a seat guys.
Y/N gestures to a booth beside the group where Team GOLD sits down. Dio sits on the inside by the wall next to Y/N. Jotaro sits on the inside by the wall next to Kira.
Akira: So what'll you guys have?
Dio: I'll have a cup of espresso.
Jotaro: One cup of black coffee.
Kira: A cup of espresso for me too.
Y/N: Can I have a green tea with lemon?
Akira: Alright, I'll have your drinks out shortly.
A bit of time passes as Akira makes their drinks when Sojiro comes through the door with all the bags of ingredients.
Sojiro: Oh hey it's you. How's you been Y/N?
Y/N: Hey Sojiro, I'm good. How has business been?
Sojiro: It could be better. It's not the worst. We have enough business to stay open.
Y/N: That's great to hear. I'd hate to have my new favorite cafe close on me.
Midway through their conversation, Akira comes over handing everybody their individual drinks and goes back behind the counter where Sojiro starts unpacking all the ingredients and sorting them in the kitchen.
Team GOLD in unison: Thank you.
As they all start drinking the coffee, Dio's, Kira's, and Jotaro's faces all light up.
Dio: Oh my gosh this is amazing!
Kira: Even for the standard of normal coffee this goes above and beyond!
Jotaro: It's not bad. I like it.
Y/N: That's why I had you guys come with. The coffee here is great along with the food and teas. Also, we can relax and get to know each other a little more.
Kira: He isn't wrong. We work so well together but barely know each other's story.
Jotaro: Then allow me to start. My name is Jotaro Kujo, as you already know. I'm a member of the Joestar Family and have been in many sparring matches with my relatives making me who I am today.
Dio: And by relatives you mean?
Jotaro: Joseph Joestar and Jonathan Joestar. The world's most powerful Hamon users.
Kira: Ha.....mon?
Y/N: Fighting with the energy from the sun. Joseph taught me that one.
Jotaro: I was never taught it. I'll bet it was because of my smoking habit.
Y/N: Yeah, lungs are vital for Hamon users.
Dio: Well my backstory is a little more complicated than that. I'm Dio Brando as you know, and I'm half human half vampire.
Kira: Wouldn't you burn in the sunlight?
Dio: Not exactly. My human half protects me from the sun's rays. But if a Hamon user struck me with an attack I'd burn from that.
Y/N: There's no chance of you burning then. Since the only people who know Hamon are either 6 feet under or in the Joestar Family.
Dio: Thank god for that.
Jotaro: How about your story Kira?
Kira: My story is kinda long. My name is Kira Yoshikage. I'm 17 years old. My family's house is in the northeast section of Morioh, where all the villas are, and I am single. I work as a part time employee for the Kame Yu department stores, and I get home every day by 8 PM at the latest. I don't smoke, but I occasionally drink.
I'm in bed by 11 PM, and make sure I get eight hours of sleep, no matter what. After having a glass of warm milk and doing about twenty minutes of stretches before going to bed, I usually have no problems sleeping until morning. Just like a baby, I wake up without any fatigue or stress in the morning. I was told there were no issues at my last check-up.
At least that's how I used to live before Beacon academy.
Dio: Pfft, what a lame backstory.
Kira: I'm sorry that I'm not some batshit crazy half-breed.
Dio: Half-breed?
Jotaro chuckles a bit at that remark. Y/N spaces out of the conversation and everything around him turns red.
All the people and cafe around him disappear as a man in an outfit only describable as one word stands in front of him.
