Woodbury was never Alejandra's home. She deeply loathed the Governor but she took whatever she could to survive in the world she was in now. Before the world was thrown to the depths of hell. She lived with her father and abuela, working as a mechanic alongside her father on weekdays. Then partying the night away with her friends and boyfriend on weekends. Her life was perfect till shit hit the fan. She lost her father and longtime boyfriend in the beginning, and it only gets worse from there.

Aly wanted so badly out of the so called town the second she arrived with Andrea Harrison and Michonne. She never planned on staying because of Michonne, but Andrea had pleaded for the two to stay. She also wouldn't allow herself to leave her abuela in Woodbury alone with that sick man.

Merle Dixon woke her from a deep slumber with the barrel of a cold, metallic revolver against her temple. He forced her up into a sitting position. He spoke to her in a hushed tone with a scary smirk "Get up Aly! I know you are close with that black bitch, and you're gonna help me find her." Alejandra gathered all the spit in her mouth and spat it at his face.

Merle and Aly's relationship was funny. One minute their playing a darts drinking game then the next they hate each other's guts. She found comfort in his prude humor, it was a breath of fresh air from the shitty world around them. He had found comfort in her attitude, he knew she always had a remark coming.

He quickly wiped the spit off his face with the remaining hand he had. He sent a nod to someone on the other side of her. Then her hands were quickly bound behind her "Go to hell, Merle Dixon." His lips curled into a wicked grin at the woman before harshly shoving her out of bed and out the doors. The blurriness in her vision faded and she was met with the bright sun, vibrant green trees and Georgia heat. Merle Dixon's group exited the safety of Woodbury's gate and his mission began.

The small group walked for what felt like hours till they came to a halt. Aly's heels dug into the Georgia clay, she took a peak around the unknown area. Merle decided to go on one of his rants. Once he stopped chattering, a younger curly headed boy by the name Gargulio spoke up, "Lets go back." Merle's glare stayed put on the boy. "The arms are a G. The legs make an O, and that's a back. It says go back." A chuckle escaped from Merle's lip as he looked at it in admiration and clapped.

"It's too good. Aww look at this, she sent us the bitergram yo." She observed the man closely from her place next to a tree, Merle had a funny way with words. Gargulio looked to Aly with a scared expression "I don't believe this is happening." He huffed out looking at the woman with a sorrowful look. Merle came up and shoved him into the tree and began giving him a speech on how the governor chose him, like it was some big prize to be chosen by that asshole.

Merle started yelling for Michonne, and everyone's guns were raised in preparation for a fight. Another speech was given by Merle to Michonne before she lunged out of the woods, taking out two of their men. Merle began firing at her, and littered the forest with bullets until one finally hit her. Aly huffed in frustration, she twisted her hands around trying to free herself before Merle yanked her forward into a sprint. Her breaths became uneven as they ran farther and farther into the trees.

The two stopped in the middle of the woods and her mind drifted to Michonne. Aly loved Merle but she told herself that she'd do whatever it took to keep him from hurting Michonne. He was set on killing her and Aly was displeased by his morals. Once they realized she was out of sight, he yelled out startling Aly "We having fun yet?"

Her gaze turned to Merle, who's held a mischievous grin "I have your little bitch with me." She rolled her eyes with a sly smirk on her face, she knew Michonne wasn't stupid enough to reveal herself. The duo trudged back to Gargulio, whose knees dug into the dirt as he sobbed over the men they had just lost.

A part of Aly felt bad for him, he wasn't used to this lifestyle like she was. The young boy definitely wasn't used to the death of this harrowing world. Aly looked up when Merle yelled at the boy before harshly kicking him over and pressing his foot down on the kids chest and rambling. When Merle was pleased, he ushered her forward along with a scarred Gargulio.

The three came to a stop in a clearing, looking around with weapons drawn. Aly prayed silently to herself that Michonne was far away from where they were. That prayer was short lived when a rustling noise echoed through the forest. Michonne swooped in and knocked Gargulio off his feet, Merle hollered a move before he began fighting with Michonne. Michonne quickly took the upper hand on Merle and dropped him down to the ground with a bloodied face. Biters began surrounding them and panic set in. Michonne took out a few biters before slicing the rope that held Alejandra's hands together. Her friend tossed her a knife and the duo were gone.

Aly rounded the other side of the store with her friend not far ahead of her. They crouched down and peered out through the windows of a broken down car. Michonne's finger rose up to her lip to signal Aly to keep noise to a minimum. The two women listened to Merle interrogate the pair, the Asian popped up, calling out Merle's name and he instantly lowered his gun with a wicked grin on his face. She quickly got the feeling something she wasn't gonna like was about to happen. When Merle asked about his baby brother, Daryl popped into her mind. Andrea had told her a lot about Daryl and how he was the softer one of the two.

Merle kept on about them trusting him and she knew they shouldn't. Merle grabbed the woman with short brown hair and they were out of sight. Aly readied herself to intervene with her knife held high but Michonne threw her hand forward, stopping Aly.

The three of them argued while Merle held the woman still before he yelled at the Asian whose name Merle called "Get in the car Glenn! You're driving." Alejandra's blood boiled. The Governor wasn't gonna treat them very well, she knew how cruel him and his men were. Especially cruel to the women. Glenn hopped in the vehicle across from them and the engine came to life, leaving the two women alone.

Aly and Michonne looked at each before Michonne weakly stood up from her spot and ushered Aly to follow her. The two of them gathered some supplies before readying themselves for the journey to the prison.

Aly didn't know how this ordeal was going to go, but she hoped no more blood was spilled.

A/N-

Hi friends as you all know this is my first official book. I apologize if there are any grammar mistakes i'm still working on it! It's not gonna be perfect but I'm trying. I promise you it will get better in the next few chapters. Aly doesn't speak much but she soon will. I hope you enjoy and stick around with my terrible writing and sucky updating schedule! Leave me some feedbacks on if you liked or disliked this!
