Chapter 1

1 year have passed since (Y/N) decided to train with Kyojuro, he has become friends with Mitsuri
(Y/N) looked up to her, she was strong, beautiful and caring about everyone.
One day he was training in the forest while she checked on him to help him get stronger.
Mitsuri: "Move more your hips (Y/N) I know you can do better"
Mitsuri (thinking): '(Y/N)-kun looks so cute when he works hard!'
She looked him as he swing his wooden katana while sweating.
(Y/N): "Mitsuri-san do you think one day I can be as strong as you or Rengoku-san?"
He said while slashing the air with his wooden katana.
Mitsuri: "Of course (Y/N)-kun, I trained so hard and I'm already at Kinoe rank."
He suddenly stops swinging his weapon and looks at it.
(Y/N):"I was weak... I couldn't defend anyone that day...my friends, my father... They died because I was weak Mitsuri.."
Rengoku suddenly appears out of nowhere
Rengoku: "Then I'll train you even harder (Y/N)! I'm training you so you can do what you couldn't do before. I'm here so you can be a strong swordsman and one day I'm sure you will be stronger than me!"
He said while smiling at (Y/N)
(Y/N): "Yes Rengoku-san, thanks to you and Mitsuri-san I'll become stronger and I'll defeat every demon! Just watch me Rengoku-san, one day I'll be a Hashira just like you!"
Rengoku then goes to (Y/N) and pats his head.
Rengoku: "Ha ha! I'm sure of it."
He hugs him then Mitsuri comes and joins the hug
Mitsuri: "I love you guys!"
He blushes as Mitsuri joins the hug and he can see her cleavage
((Y/N) is a bit shorter than Mitsuri right now she has 18 years while he has 16)
Then suddenly a growl could be heard
(Y/N): "Um...."
(Y/N) face is even more red as they stop hugging and look at (Y/N)
Mitsuri: "Seems you are hungry (Y/N)-kun."
Mitsuri (thinking): 'Kyaaaaaaa (Y/N)-kun is so cute!!!!~'
They all get out of the forest and goes to the house and they eat rice that Rengoku brought.
(Y/N): "Mmmmm! I love rice so much... Thanks for the food Rengoku-san!"
Rengoku: "Eat (Y/N) and Kanroji without food you won't have energy to kill demons!"
Mitsuri and (Y/N) : "Haiiii Rengoku-san!"
(Timeskip after they eat and all of them goes to their room)
(Y/N) is thinking, laying down inside his futon then he hears knocking on his door
Mitsuri: "(Y/N)-kun can I enter?"
He sits up and looks at the door
(Y/N): "Hai Mitsuri-san you can come in."
She enters the room wearing her kimono
(Y/N) (thinking): 'Mitsuri-san is so beautiful...'

Mitsuri: "Ne (Y/N)-kun can we talk, I want to tell you something important..."
(Y/N): "Yes Mitsuri-san?"
Mitsuri: Well you see... (Y/N) I-
Suddenly her crow appears.
Mitsuri's Crow: "KANROJI MITSURI IS NEEDED AT HEADQUARTERS, I REPEAT KANROJI MITSURI IS NEEDED AT HEADQUARTERS!"
Mitsuri: "Awwww I'll tell you another day (Y/N)..."
(Y/N): "Is fine Mitsuri-san we can talk another day, it seems you have a mission."
She lefts his room and goes to her room then she changes and comes out wearing her uniform and her katana sheathed on her waist.
Rengoku: "Mitsuri I'll go with you to headquarters, my crow also told me I need to go."
He tells her and she nods.
Rengoku: "(Y/N) I'll try my best to come tomorrow. Don't destroy the house while I'm gone."
(Y/N) nods and smiles
(Y/N): "Don't worry Rengoku-san I'll take care of your house, is not the first time you 2 have been sent on a mission."
Rengoku laughs while Mitsuri giggles.
(Y/N): "See you another day Mitsuri-san and Rengoku-san, I hope we can train tomorrow."
(Y/N) gives Rengoku a hug then they stop while Mitsuri pouts that (Y/N) hugged Rengoku first so instead of waiting for him to give her a hug she did it first and hugged him tightly.
Mitsuri: "You too (Y/N) see you another day."
She kisses his forehead and he starts blushing as red as Rengoku's nichirin blade.
(Y/N): "Hai!"
(Timeskip to the next day)
A knock could be heard on the front door of the house making (Y/N) wake up as he see Rengoku there.
Rengoku: "Good morning (Y/N) I have good news!"
(Y/N): "Yes Rengoku-san?"
Rengoku: "Kanroji has been appointed as a Hashira, she is right now the Love Hashira!"
(Y/N) smiles but deep inside of him he feels sad because he knows that being a Hashira is too much work so he won't see her again.
(Y/N): "Rengoku-san we will train today right?"
Rengoku: "Of course (Y/N) haha! let's continue training to get stronger!"

(Another Timeskip)

6 months has happened since Mitsuri became the Love Pillar.
Mitsuri left Rengoku's place and has her own, she and (Y/N) haven't seen each other for a while.
(Y/N) is training in the forest the Rengoku appears with a Nichirin Blade on his hand.
Rengoku: "(Y/N) remember tomorrow is the final selection exam... I know you are ready so take this with you."
(Y/N): "Tomorrow is the exam huh... Time has passed really fast don't you think Rengoku-san?"
He grabs the katana and unsheaths it then looks at it, admiring the katana.

Rengoku: "Good luck (Y/N) I know you will pass the test... Also go to my room and you will find a box there's a present for you."
He pats (Y/N)'s head while smiling
Rengoku: "Now go and make me proud (Y/N)!"
(Y/N): "Hai Rengoku-san!"
He sheaths the sword and then goes to Rengoku's room and finds the boxes and he opens it and find clothes for his final selection.

(Just the pants)
(Y/N): "Thanks Rengoku-san.. I'll make you proud."
(Y/N) wears his new clothes and heads out to the final selection exam.
