David's parents stood outside their house, surrounded by police officers, frantically describing their son to a Human Resource worker when the trio of rescuers returned. Upon catching sight of the tall stranger rushing towards them, holding her son, David's mother screamed with relief and ran to meet them.

"Oh thank goodness! David!!" she sobbed, taking him out of Angelo's arms and almost crushing him in a hug. "Are you alright, baby? Are you ok?"

"I'm ok, Mama. A nice man came and helped me. See, there he is." But when they looked around, Angelo was gone.

Watching from the top of the roof, with Biscuits on his lap and Bertie beside him, Angelo smiled. His little charge was safe, and he was determined not to EVER let him out of his sight again.

Ding, his phone cheeped.

'Is everything back to rights now?" read the message.

The Angel smiled and texted back.

'Sure is, Gabe. And it's going to stay that way.'
