Last week I was talking to one of my friends from work when suddenly one of them arrived and invited us to have dinner in a great restaurant next Friday after work.  My friend would be attending with her boyfriend, as usual except me I would be third-wheeling and wishing I wasn't there with them.  

On Tuesday I had a very weird dream, I dreamed about a guy that had a handsome appearance that was living in a big apartment with me and also sleeping in the same bed as me, in the dream was something very peculiar: the bed was in the living room in front of the grey chimney, surprisingly it looked very comfortable there. During the dream, the man was my boyfriend and he worked at the same time as me every day, also returned with me home and acted like a complete gentleman.

Now is Friday and I still can't find someone to go with, as I worked on my desk today I saw that my friend's boyfriend was giving her some roses and chocolate meanwhile he was kissing her cheek.  I decided to go for a cup of coffee to the nearest Starbucks that was one block away, while I was walking I played some old good music on my iPod.

When I arrived at the counter I order a pumpkin spice late since I love it very bad and it was an October afternoon I ordered it with some almond milk and a chocolate chip cookie. While I waited for my order I peek out a table near a window.  

I was drinking my coffee when suddenly it started to rain and I got nervous because I did not know how to return to my office, that made me think that I should call my boss to tell him about my inconvenient and he was fine with it because he had a family emergency.

When the rain stopped I went to work, while I was walking I saw a man with a similar face profile from the men that I dreamed of three nights ago, but it couldn't be him because his nose was different.

As I  arrived at work my friend asked me where was I with a very worried look, she said " XXXX XXX where were you I was very worried about you!!!". I told her: " I was drinking a cup of coffee since I got bored of seeing you being so affective with your boyfriend". She looked at me and hugged me and told me that her boyfriend would help me to find someone who could love me and take good care of me.

Later when I was at home I picked a black dress with my favorite pair of high heels because the place was very formal. I went to my friend's house first because his boyfriend was going to drive us to the place but something happened to him so we finished going in a taxi.

After we arrived at the restaurant my friend found her boyfriend that was with his friend and it was weird because it was the guy that I saw after going back to work after going to for a cup of coffee.  And it looked precisely like the guy from my dream. He started the conversation looking very shy and said: "Hi my name is Doyoung, what is your name?" I answered, "Hi nice to meet you I am Xxx".

Following he asked something that make me feel very awkward the whole evening, " I think I saw you today looking at me with a weird face while I was walking to my car".   I got very startled when he finished that sentence, I continued the talk without looking at him and sounding very cold " I don't know what you are talking about". But my friend mentioned that today I went to the Starbucks near our working place and that I saw a guy that I thought he was very good looking.

After this horrible and awkward evening, I was going to head home when Doyoung stopped me and asked what my number was, I gave it to him blushing a lot.

When I went home and connected my phone to the Wi-fi  I got a new message from Doyoung saying that he would like to go out tomorrow for a cup of coffee at five. At that moment I started screaming happily and hiding my face in a pillow. Later I decided that it was time to watch some TV on my couch.

Narrator P.O.V.

On Sunday Xxx woke up around nine thirty-five on her couch and decided to make some pancakes as a breakfast.  Subsequent she changed her clothes and went for a walk around her block while listening to some music on her iPod.

 Around eleven five she was showering. When she got out of the shower she choose to wear some sweatpants and an oversized t-shirt while she ironed her clothes that were going to wear to the coffee "date", she wasn't sure if it was a date or not.

Meanwhile, Doyoung found himself talking to his brother Dong Hyun (Gong Myung) because he wants to impress that girl but did not know-how.  His brother thought that it was a good idea to ask Xxx what kind of clothes she was going to wear so Doyoung can match because girls love this kind of things.

She picked up the phone and answered with a sweet voice "Hello?" and Dong Hyun threw his brother's phone right to him making some signals with his hands trying to tell his brother that was his crush. Doyoung didn't understand and picked up the phone and said hi.

She asked why was calling her for because she needed to go to the bathroom.  He said that he didn't want to disturb her, he only wanted to know how to dress properly for their date, in the same words making her feel butterflies in her tummy besides blushing.

Right now it was the time for the date and Doyoung was going to Xxx's house to go to the coffee place. When he rang the doorbell she opened the door and he looked at her with big eyes, how did he not saw how beautiful she was on that first moment that he saw her.

Sometime later they arrived at the coffee house and stayed there talking for approximately four hours, turns out they have way too many things in common besides that their friends are dating.

Afterward, he accompanied her to her door and say goodbye smiling and hoping that in the future they can grow into something more.
