LIES

The smile on their face,
So wide, So nice.
The words that were spoken,
So sweet, Like candy.

This is what we see,
In front of them.
But is it,
The truth?

The smile is forced on,
So unreal, So fake.
The words from a book,
So bitter, Like coffee.

This is what we can't see,
Right beneath them.
This is it,
The truth.

The smiles, The words,
Are all fake, All lies.
We must not,
Judge a book by it's cover.

Lies can only be,
The truth sometimes.
Everybody lies,
Everybody dies.
