On my way home I had gotten a text. Beep Beep. It was Marcus.
Marcus: Are u okay?
Jailee: Yes, It hurts! Why did u do it?
Marcus: tbh , I have a crush on u I'm sorry ma and don't tell Aria or anyone what happened. let it be our secret!
Jailee: ight, see you tomar
I can't believe it. My crush has a crush on me too! I got home and went to sleep. Around 3:00 p.m. Mom came in my room. She asked was I alright. I told her yes, and that I was just tired. I got up to use the bathroom, and went back to bed.
Around 3:29 there was a knock at my door. "Come in, " I said. It was Marcus. "What are you doing here," I exclaimed. "I'm sorry for what happened today. You're my best friend, and I was in the wrong. I have had a crush on you since you moved here. Would like to go out with me?" I was shocked. All of this was coming out of Marcus's mouth. I happily said yes. Now I have a boyfriend!
The next day at school I told Aria that Marcus and I were dating. She was happy. I ended up telling Mom too. "Jailee got a boyfriend, Jailee got a boyfriend," screamed Kyrie. I chased him throughout the house. The week slowly went by. I facetimed Marcus every single day.
