"Hello, Naib." Naib shuddered at his voice, not responding out of mostly fear. He ran towards Emily, clutching his kukri. Jack swung at Naib but missed and Naib took the opportunity to cut the restraints and freed Emily.
"Go!" Naib yelled, trying his best to body block the doctor, who was limping. Jack caught up quickly, ignoring Naib and aiming for Emily. He swung, his blades making contact with his target as Emily cried out in pain, flying forward. Damn! Naib prayed the hunter would chase him so Emily could get herself up again. Unfortunately, Jack had no interest in going after Naib. Picking Emily up, he placed her on a chair and sent her back to the manor.
1 cipher remaining. Instead of going after the mercenary, he walked away, looking around for the mechanic or her robot. Naib got frustrated as he tried to chase the hunter, who was ignoring him. Jack heard a zap nearby and headed towards the noise. Footsteps trailed behind the mechanic as she ran away, but Jack was faster. He swung as the mechanic was vaulting a window, and his fog blades hit her. Tracy flew forward from the impact, groaning in pain. She controlled her robot to continue decoding, before getting picked up and placed on a chair. Jack went back for her robot and Naib took the chance to rescue. As her robot got hit down, Jack went back and started to chase Tracy again.
"Naib! Finish my cipher!" Tracy yelled as she tried to kite the hunter. Naib used an elbow pad, swiftly getting back to the cipher. It was about 90% done, and Naib gave silent thanks to Tracy. As soon as Tracy got hit down, he popped the cipher and she was up and running again, filled with renewed energy.
'The hunter has detention!' Tracy yelled. Naib quickly made his way to the nearest exit gate, slamming in the password. C'mon... Just a little more... The exit gate groaned as it opened. "Follow me!" Naib yelled, hoping Tracy was nearby, as he wandered off a little away from the gate. He spotted Tracy, Jack hot on her tail, and dashed towards her just as Jack swung again.
Naib took the hit, grunting but glad he finally helped and ran towards the gate, glad for his steel will. He remained behind Tracy as she murmured thanks. They made it to the gate and as Tracy escaped, Naib felt a sharp pain behind his back and fell onto the ground.
"Ugh..." Naib's vision filled with black. As he regained his vision, he tried to crawl out the gate, wincing in pain with every movement. Almost there... he reached his hand out, only to be lifted into the air. No...
"Where do you think you're going, little bunny?" Jack grinned, holding onto Naib's small body as he struggled against his hold.
"Let g-go!" Naib yelled, struggling with all his might. He tried to sound brave, but the desperation seeped into his trembling voice. Jack walked to the nearest chair and slammed him, Naib yelping in pain as blood dripped out of his back wound.
"It was a fun match, but I'm afraid I'll have to send you back. It's part of the fun, isn't it?" Jack moved closer to him, chuckling. He traced Naib's cheek before stepping back, the rocket chair ready to take off.
Naib gazed at Jack with fearful but determined eyes.
"I won't let anyone get hurt by you again," Naib growled, as he got sent back to the manor.
