Do you ever fall in love with someone but you can because either their annoying, ugly or are just not "Prince Charming" material. Well pretty much this happened to me and it all started with one note...
"Hey Michaela do you have the Biology homework done by any chance". "Yeah here ya go." I said while passing Maddie my notebook. "It should be somewhere in there."
"What's this??" Maddie hands me a piece of paper while giving me this obnoxious smirk that she always gives me when she knows something's up. "Ooo 'To my sweet girl Michaela' isn't that so cute!"
"Give it to me!!" I snatch the note from her, and start to read it aloud.
"Michaela, I don't know how to say this but I think I like you... But I don't know how to say this you so I'm writing this note. I love the way twirl your hair, the way you look at me, and the way you make me feel. Michaela if you would like to write me back, and possibly get to know each other a little bit better, then write me a note back to me and put it in locker 421. I hope that you would. With all my heart -- Sloth"
"Who wrote this is this some sort of sick joke!?"
"Maybe it's an actual love note from an actual guy" Maddie says to me when taking to note to read a second time. "Maybe it's Mountain?"
"We don't speak of Mountain at school its way to risky... Someone might find out, and especially if Grace found out I would be screwed." I whispered.
"So are you going to write back to him?" Maddie says as she hands me the note.
Should I? I mean maybe it's him or someone else. I guess they're a lot of cute guys at this school.
"What's that?!" Daniel says when taking my paper.
"Daniel give me back the paper!! You idiot don't you have respect for people's property"
"Michaela, I don't know how to say this but I think-" I take the paper out of hands while kicking him in the shins.
"Ow that really hurts" he says in a sarcastic voice.
"Oh no what a nightmare why don't you go cry to your mommy ok?" Maddie say to him as I chuckled to that. He deserved it anyways.
The rest of the day was pretty bland and the note still on the top of my mind I decided to write him a short little note.
Sloth, I would like to know who you are before writing to you any longer. If you can't would you please tell what grade you're in and what you look like? I hope you aren't some weirdo... --Michaela
As I walk to the locker I find that Grace was there. She was looking at me like I was some animal. "Michaela... whatcha doing there" she says in this obnoxious high pitched voice.
"Nothing I'm just going to meet up with Kaylie. She's taking me home." I lied
"Ok Let me walk with I'm going the same way."
"Do you know anyone that has locker around here?"
"Yeah Keith and Diamond do over there" she points to the lockers "did you here that they're dating"
"Yeah Keith's in my History class and all he talks about is her. Apparently they've been have good 'make out session' it's pretty weird. What number is Keith's locker anyways?"
"Ummm well Diamonds is locker 419 and Keith's locker is three down so maybe 422. I'm not positive though. Oh hey Kaylie!! Well I guess you ride is here see ya!"
"Michaela I'm taking you home?"
"Sure?? If you don't mind."
"Yeah I'm also taking Karen to my house Sarah is having a party didn't you get invited?" She said when we started to walk.
"Yeah I wanted to say home tonight, but if you don't mind can I just come to the party with you. My house is way too far."
"Of course!! Just come with us. I bet Karen has some extra clothes also."
The car ride was fun. Kaylie pretty much blared the music on full volume while Karen and I were dancing. I didn't know if I should tell them about the note yet. I mean Maddie is my best friend, but Kaylie and Karen are pretty close to me to. When we got to the house I saw a couple of cars parked outside.
"My parents are out of town so I invited a few people for the pre-party." She said while pulling into the garage.
"What the heck is a pre-party?" Karen yells at Kaylie while she walks out the car, and Kaylie turns off the music.
"I don't know that's what Keith is calling this whole thing". As Kaylie unlocks the door the house I immediately run to the bathroom, not even noticing the people in the house. After I got out, I went to stairs to Kaylie's room. But when I got their only Karen was there.
"Can I borrow some clothes?"
"Sure. Just look in my bag I have a lot of clothes in there." She said while tossing her bag to me.
"Who's downstairs?" I say when I find a cute pair of shorts and a nice shirt.
"Keith, Diamond, Greg, and Adam, but they're more coming over I think."
"ADAM IS HERE. KAREN I NEED TO LOOK PERFECT. "
"Alright fine, I can ask Diamond to do your makeup. DIAMOND" she yells.
"Hey what do you want??" Diamond say when walking into my room.
"Can you please do Michaela's makeup?? You know who is here" Karen says while winking at Diamond.
"Ok Hun I'll make you perfect."
