"Alright I'm all done. You can look in the mirror now"
"Dang I look good" I say when I touch my face to see if it's my actual face. She put the bronzer in places that would make my cheek bone more defined, and these weird little eyelashes that make my eyes look 10x bigger than their actually are. For a second I thought the girl in the mirror wasn't even me.
"Michaela you look hot!" Keith says when walking to Kaylie's room. "Greg brought pizza downstairs if you want some"
"I'm gonna get some. Want one?" Diamond said while putting the makeup away.
"Nah I'm good I'm just gonna stay if that's alright."
"Oh that's fine! I'm starving" she says when sprinting down the stairs.
"Hey Michaela do want a Jell-O shot?" Keith says while handing it to me.
"Well I guess" before I gulp it down. It was much sweeter than I expected it to be.
"Hey Diamond and I are going. Wanna come?"
"No I'm just gonna wait for Kaylie to drive me."
"Oh Kaylie isn't here... she already left"
"What!! Where is she??"
"I don't know she said something about her sister but that's about it."
"Ok I'm just gonna come with you guys then. Give me a second."
"KEITH LETS GO." Diamond yells from down stairs. "WE NEED TO BUY THE KEGS."
"Dang it! I totally forgot about it! We have to go now. Are you sure that you don't want to come."
"Yeah its fine I'll just go with Greg." I say with a sigh.
"KEITH" Diamond yells again.
"Sorry Michaela I have to go. Good luck with them. Bye!"
--------COUPLE HOURS LATER------
"MICHAELA, COME OVER HERE." Maddie said while gesturing me to where she was sitting. "So I heard you rode with Mountain."
"Yup it was pretty awkward."
"Tell me all about it!!" she yells.
The story wasn't too crazy, but pretty much what I told was that I went downstairs, and we drove over here.
"That's it?? He didn't even make a move on you? That's the golden moment to make a move."
"Pretty much. I'm sure he doesn't even like me"
"Well who cares about that douche, wanna a drink?" she asked me when hand me a drink.
"Sure" I reluctantly answered. "Who's the new guy?"
"Oh him?" she points at him as I nod. "Cameron he's one grade above us, but he has a girlfriend."
"Who?!"
"Emily" she whispered.
"EMILY-!" I yelled right before Maddie covers my mouth.
"Michaela, she's is right behind us." We both turn around to see that she didn't hear us, but she was dancing with Cameron and Grace.
"When did Emily and Cameron become a thing" I say before taking a swig of my drink, "She was dating Austin about 2 months ago."
"Yeah they've been going out for about 3 weeks. I'm not sure though. I hear from Grace that she cheated on Austin with him."
"Poor Austin. Wanna dance this conversation is pretty depressing." I get up when I reach for her hand. She gets up and we skip to the dance floor. I vaguely see two girls dancing and then suddenly they both come near to Maddie and me.
'Michaela!! How are you?!?" the voice sounds too familiar. I know who this is.
"Makayla!! I haven't seen you in ages." I say when giving her a hug. "How's your new school?"
"Pretty good!!" she said. "And you remember Breanna right?"
"Yeah! We met at the homecoming game". About half an hour passed by as the four of us were dancing and catching up. It was fun just hanging out and just to forget about all the drama.
"This is our song" Makayla and Breanna yell out. "You know the dance for this song??" Breanna asked me as I shook my head no. Breanna waved over this guy over to us. "This is my brother Javon. He'll teach you he dance."
"Hi, you must be Michaela? Makayla and Breanna have told me a lot about you."
"How much??"
"Not too much" he says with a laugh. I look over to my three friends giggling to each other. "Wanna learn this dance?"
"Of course." he said when he puts his hands on my hips. "One step to the right and move your hands like this, and you do the same to the left" I tried to do it but I failed, and I see out of the corner of my eye Javon cracking up in.
"Why are you laughing at me? Am I that bad?!?" I say when I hit him.
"You're doing it all wrong. Let me show you how it's done" Javon does it perfectly and catches everyone's attention, and when it was all over everyone was clapping for him. He slowly walks over and whispered into my ear "Wanna go somewhere quitter?"
I look over to them to get their approval and they were all nodding yes. "Sure, why not." I say when he grabs my hand and walks me through the sea of people. He take me a vacant bedroom and sits me down on the bed.
"Don't worry I'm not going to do anything to you unless you want me to" he jokes. "Soo where do you go to school?"
"Adams, what about you?"
"West Anderson, with Makayla and Breanna". We talked for about 20 minutes but it seems like forever. "So you have a boyfriend" he asked
"Maybe..." I jokingly answered
"Oh... I just thought you didn't have one... I'm so dumb" he mumbled.
"I'm joking!! I don't have one." I said. "Do you?"
"No..." he looking at my lips. Is he going to kiss me?!? He is coming closer. Is this a good thing? Maybe he is give me a hug. The closer he comes though more I think he's going to kiss me. I'll props though for his breath smelling like cinnamon. What am I gonna do?! Fine, I'm going to go for it. There is no stopping me now. No regrets.
