Days passed,
Adrien was busy with his fencing and Kagami whereas Marinette was with the Kitty Section and sometimes she even spends time with Kagami and Adrien. It was after a friendship incident only did Marinette realizes the similarity of Adrien and Kagami of wanting to have a friend and yes, Kagami and Marinette knows both like Adrien and refuse to give him up, or it is so. But even so, Marinette becomes Kagami's first female friend she treasures.
They both spend time together hanging out until one time where out of the sudden, Marinette finds herself being the lightbulb between the two of them and felt lonely among them. After another playing session of fencing was done while Marinette was done studying in the classroom and waiting for them at the bench. Adrien and Kagami got away from their strict families and went to Andre the ice cream maker for a well-deserved treat. The 3 of them were given 3 choices of 2 flavours ;
1. Orange and peppermint -> Kagami & Adrien ( a perfect pairing for success)
2. Blackberry and peppermint -> Marinette & Adrien (Opposite attracts)
3. Orange and Blackberry -> Kagami & Marinette ( Unusual pairing that works)
Adrien and Kagami gave the power of choice to Marinette as they trusted her in her taste. Marinette couldn't choose till she saw the pink love around Kagami & Adrien and decided her choice. She told Andre her choice and was about to find an excuse to leave the couple bird alone but,
Fancy to see you here, Marinette: A voice called her.
Luka. What a coincidence. What are you doing here? : Marinette was surprised about Luka.
Well, I was done with my delivery and wanted to get something cooling. : Luka was pleased to see Marinette at the ice cream stand.
Kagami and Adrien got the ice cream from Andre, quietly standing at the side. Andre looked at Marinette and Luka and had a eureka of a new flavour and start doing his ice cream with everyone watching.
~Mmhmm~ Blackberry~ and~ Green Tea ~, an unusual mix but a nice change of sweetness from blackberry and refreshing taste from Green Tea which compliment each other well. Here you go, young man. Everyone needs a treat from their hard work.~ : Andre passed the ice cream to Luka.
Wow. Thanks, Sir. How much is it? : Luka took the ice cream by surprise.
~It's on the house. Young man. Why don't you share this new creation with the young lady here?~ : Replied Andre talking about Marinette.
Will you share this ice cream with me? Marinette. : Luka offered the ice cream to Marinette.
Marinette was pleasantly shocked by Luka's appearance but it made her feel happy and grateful.
Yes, I will love too, Luka. : Marinette said this with a smile.
Adrien and Kagami watched the whole scene and the former one started to feel jealous and hurt by watching the two of them but Kagami had his attention when she called him when Luka and Marinette walked towards them.
Will you mind if Luka could join us? : Marinette approached Kagami and Adrien with Luka beside her
Sure, I don't mind. : Kagami wasn't comfortable at first but Luka presence made her feel is okay with him.
Adrien was okay with the plan and made a guy-friendly gesture with Luka since both knew each other before but the electricity spark made contact between them again and broke off when the gesture is done.
The 2 couple walked to the side of the river bank and enjoyed the ice cream they had. Marinette glances at Adrien and Kagami and felt sad about how the couple interacts, Marinette turned back and see Luka with a spoon of green tea ice cream waiting for her. She smiles and accepts this action of Luka, the refreshing taste of green tea swirl around her mouth felt so good.
