Things are heating up for Nick Youngand Iggy Azalea.
The Los Angeles Laker player tells DuJour that he and the Australian-born rapper, whose real name is Amethyst Kelly, will be living together soon.
“Me and Iggy just bought a house,” he said, detailing their relationship. “We’ve been getting really close lately. I’ve never been with somebody like this. So, I’m taking it as a challenge.”
Young, 29, and Azalea, 24, have been dating for a year and he says the relationship is like any other. “We fight over the TV remote because she watches TLC and the Weather Channel all night,” he said. “We argue all the time, but we get it worked out. We understand each other.”
As things began to take shape for the young couple, Young admits the idea of marriage has been discussed. “It’s come up a couple times,” he added.
He often looks toward his parents’ 37-year marriage for inspiration. “Growing up I always wanted to be married and have a family, and it’s difficult,” he said. “I ask them [his parents] how they do it. It’s a process.”
