A cold breeze through her sweater
Standing alone
In the chilling weather
Her dark hair flutters in the wind
Skin as pale as snow
A lost man wanders in
His voice startlingly low"You shouldn't be out here alone"
He whispers to the woman
She feels the blade
Cold against her throat
She doesn't bother screaming
And there's no where she can runThe man grins widely
His work is almost done
She grabs his hand
His blood runs cold
She whispers a demand
He does what he is told
He lets her go
And she just smiles
Behind her the wind picks up
Creating swirls of blinding snowAt this point he shutters
He finally knows
The woman's eyes sparkle
In innocent delight
As they strike fear into his heart
Tonight, the snow will take his lifeHer beauty distracts him
While she tells him that he must go
Destined to wander through the blizzard
Never to make it home
He'll walk until his feet freeze
The rest of his short life
Will be spent alone
The woman watches as the ice consumes him
He won't breathe again
As mysteriously as she appeared
She disappears with the windAuthor's note: Happy Halloween everyone! Can you guess who the woman is and what lore this is based off of?
