I got up the next morning to a knock at the door "it's 6:30 ugh, what are they doing here so early!" When I was walking down the stairs I saw an old lady, I had not yet seen her before. I opened the door. She was holding a pretty black and white kitten, "hello?"
"Oh hi my deary. Would you like a pretty pretty kitty cat?" She asked in a creepy voice
"What?"
"A kitten will help you not be lonely!"
"Umm ok" I took the kitten from her hands, it was so small and fluffy, super fluffy
"She's a girl" the old woman left and disappeared
"What should I name you?" I took the kitten and sat on the couch
"Knock knock knock" I heard
I walked over to the door and opened it up. It was Garroth "hi" I said
"Hey ____" he replied "is that a cat?"
"Yes"
"Om goodness I love kitties. There was this one Sprinkles oh Sprinkles I miss you so much" he cried "but Sprinkles was actually a human turned into a cat haha!"
"Ok?" I said
"You should name your cat Sprinkles"
"I don't know"
The cat walked over to Garroth "meow"
"It likes you" I said
"Do you know if it is a girl or a boy?" He asked
"girl!" I said excitedly
"Oh girls" he replied
"Wow she really likes you like a lot"
"Aww hi girl!"
"Meow" said the cat
"I like you too" answered Garroth
"So, Garroth umm what are you doing today." I asked.
"Nothing yet, do you want to do something?"
I started blushing. "Umm sure," I said not knowing how to tell him I was going to look for a job today. I had lost myself "Actually Garroth," I found myself again and took a deep breath, "Garroth, I cant today sorry,"
"Oh it's okey I was planning on going over to Lucinda's today."
"Who's Lucinda?" I asked
"She's a really pretty witch," he answered
"Oh, cool,"
He left my house and I got my keys to the car. I decided instead of looking for a job to get supplies for the cat. "What should I name you?" I asked the fluffy ball of fur. I picked her up, she was so tiny in my hands. "Fluffy? Slippers? Mittens?" She looked up and meowed. "So Mittens huh? That's a nice name."
