Beep, beep...
I slowly open my eyes expecting to see sunlight, but my eyes are greeted with a pitch black haze.
I grab my phone off the table.
1 new message.
"Ding dong the bitch is dead."

Flashback
"We all know how stories begin, with the classic 'once upon a time,' but do we really know how they end?"
"So, you want me to help you?" I ask my sister.
"Duh." She says, clearly bored.
"I know this is the audition you really want, but is it worth it?"
"Yes!" Go Sophie! Why does this make her so happy and enthusiastic?
My sister wanted the role of The Wicked Witch, in the musical at our school, 'The Wizard of Oz,' but so did Elinor Caplin, a bitch and a fellow rival of Sophie's.
"Here's twenty for the pumpkin-make sure it's big!"
"What are you getting?"
"You'll see."
~~~~~~~~~~
I watch as my sister takes the pumpkin from my hands. With a knife in her hands she cuts around the 'handle' of the pumpkin.
When she's finished, she turns to me, "Ready?"
"Duh." I use her trademark tone, making her laugh.
We laugh together as we scoop out the insides if the pumpkin out.
She grabs a clear bottle.
"What's that?"
"Vinegar."
She smiles wickedly.
I laugh.
We wait ten minutes for the vinegar to soak in and give it it's nasty smell.
"Oh," says Sophie, "We need dye."
"Ok, what color?"
"An ugly brown."
End of Flashback
The car ride to school is quiet, except for my dad who's making an attempt at conversation.
"Are you nervous?"
What do you think?
"No."
"You will do great,"my mom says from the passenger seat.
Yeah right.
"Maybe."
"I'm sure you will!
We arrive at Covington Academy, and admire the beautiful building,-but I quickly snap out of my trance.
"Remember," says my mother, "No one.
