The text is bugging me. I feel like it's burning through the back of my pants, as it sits in my pocket. It is probably just a wrong number, a joke a giggling girl has with her best friend, but something about it seems like a threat. Like they are challenging me.
I'm nervous as I walk through the school hallways. My sister was the bold confidant one, she was a great friend to have by your side, so I didn't really branch out to too many others.
Then Madelyn came along, she was bold, gorgeous, confidant and instantly popular. She invited me to tag along with her, and I instantly was popular too. I found my voice, and she still is one of my best friends, except now she doesn't know where I am, or if I'm alive.

"Here are your classes."
The lady with way too much cleavage looks at me, obviously annoyed that I'm not a hot boy.
"Thanks."
"Whatever."

I hear a "Nice Clumsy" behind me, but I ignore the slutty lady.
"I-I'm so sorry!" I say quickly.

"AP math."
"I don't have it...but I- Oh I'll get Will to walk you-"
I turn towards her, "Really I'm-"
But she's gone. Only to return a couple seconds later with gorgeous man in tow.
I can't help but gawk.
Wow.
Close your mouth Louise, you don't want to look like an idiot.
"This," she says "Is Will.""Are you two-"
"No!"
They laugh.
"She's my step sister." Will looks at me questionably.
"Louise Hale."
