Breaking

Lex opens his eyes before slowly sitting up rapping his arms around his knees whispering you him self " vex... ". He felt his heart crack as he come to realize he was only dreaming.

The day started slow as Lexs therapist came to speak with him. She went on threw many things with him, but Lex sat there in his silences cuddling to his own knees. He won't speak no matter what she asked of him or said. Why would anyone expect him to speak. His alone, and lost all he had left after the fire was his brother. Ones his brother dies he shut down more then he could have over his parents deaths.

Lex looks out the window in silence seemingly, but honestly inside of himself he was crying. Yet no one knew, not even the best of the doctors. Only one would know, but by everyones words and the grave stone he's dead. The day went by slowly as he stayed in his room all day not speaking to anyone. The memory of the funeral crossed Lexs mind making his eyes begin to run in tears " n-nooo... " he whispers to himself. " y-youre..  not... g-gone... "  he begins to choke up covering his mouth not believing any of it. " c-com e.. b  ack.... p-pleease"  as the please slides across his tongue he breaks down hiding his face against his stuffed animal shaking and sniffing. That night was cold you could see the snow gather up outside lining the windows and outer bars.

After about an hour Lex gathers himself before stumbling to his feet running to his room door bare feet holding his stuffed animal close. " Let me see him! " He yells threw the window on the door as he hits the door. The nurse near by confuse chooses to get the doctor thinking that's what Lex means. Lex stands by the door as he watches carefully. Dr. Hasion shows up unlocking Lexs room door " What is it Lex ??? ". The second the door opens Lex rushes out " Let me see him!" Lex yells . Dr. Hasion catches him in his arms trying to keep him under control " Lex you can't see him his gone!" . Lex cries out his eyes filling with tears as he pushes againest the doctor before noticing something out of the corner of his eyes. Lex lefts his head sniffing as he looks down the hallway seeing Vex smiling back at him from down the hall. " VEX!" Lex screams as he rips himself from Dr. Hasions arms as he burst down the hall towards Vex which has now turned and begun to walk away as if leading Lex. The nurses and Doctor chase after Lex as he runs his heart out.
