Aizawa was at home coughing, petal after petal, all petals covered in dark red blood. Pain finding its way all over Aizawa's body. Why was this happening to Aizawa, for he needed answers that he didn't know himself. He has been over the toilet all day and even used all the strength he had to call the school, explaining that he was sick. Sick. Was he really sick? Or was it something else. What could it possibly be that it makes it feel like you're dying. Was he really feeling like he was dying or was he dying. Should he call for someone. Who would possibly care for him enough to also care for his well being? A ringing noise could be heard in the background. A phone? Aizawa's phone. Who could be calling him during school hours? Him. The one responsible for making Aizawa feel this way. The one Aizawa had fallen for. Hizashi Yamada. The complete opposite of him. The loud blond with green eyes, who is always smiling. Aizawa tried reaching for his phone but couldn't reach it in time. The ringing had stopped. After a few minutes of struggling Aizawa was able to reach his phone which was low in battery. He had multiple texts and calls from the person Aizawa held dear. The person Aizawa would die for. Or better said the one Aizawa is dying for.

Hizashi: Hey Shouta!! Our Sensei said said you weren't feeling well.. I'll go visit you once school is over.

The moment Aizawa read the text the feeling of having thorns piercing through his lungs came back. Pain after pain, petal after petal, cough after cough, no matter what he did, it would all go away for awhile then come back like a raging storm. All the pain that Aizawa felt was enough to distract him from the time. A knock was heard from the main room. Than the ringing of keys opening a door. Was school over all ready? Aizawa didn't want Hizashi to see him in this weak state yet he knew he couldn't stop Hizashi from opening that door. Hizashi knew were Aizawa lived and he had keys to Aizawa's apartment.

"Hey Shouta….. You…" the moment that Hizashi saw Aizawa he broke down. Hizashi had always loved Aizawa more than a friend but never said anything. "Shouta…?" Trembled Hizashi struggling to form his words. "You… you have.. Hanahaki.. Disease??" Hizashi was crying at this point, no longer being able to hold back his tears for his dying friend.

"I'm fine… I don't have Hanahickey…" started Aizawa before coughing multiple times with more petals escaping his mouth. "Or whatever you said I have, so please don't cry"

"HOW DO YOU NOT WANT ME TOO CRY WHEN YOU ARE DYING SHOUTA!?!" Yelled Hizashi accidently starting his quirk. “DO YOU EVEN KNOW WHAT HANAHAKI DISEASE IS? CAUSE CLEARLY YOU PRONOUNCED IT WRONG!!!”

Aizawa slowly stood up trying to get Hizashi to stop crying, trying his best to reassure his best friend but only ended up falling into Hizashi’s arms.

“Shouta please get the surgery..” sobbed Hizashi. “I don’t want you to die in my arms.”

“Zashi I don’t have whatever disease you say I have.”

Hizashi sat Shouta down in his bed and pulled out his laptop from his backpack for Aizawa had always been low in money to buy what Aizawa claims to be a waste of money. Hizashi quickly searched up the symptoms and meaning of Hanahaki disease making Shouta read it. Shouta’s heart dropped to the bottom. He had been feeling this way for the whole week and yet so fast the symptoms had gotten worse. The speed that the disease was unrevealing at was proof of his love towards Hizashi.

“Please tell me who you love I bet they would love you back and if they don’t please get the surgery…” begged Hizashi tears running down his face.

“Sorry Zashi but they would never love me back and I wouldn’t be able to afford the surgery.” explained Aizawa feeling the thorns piercing his lungs once more.

“I’ll pay for the surgery!!! I don't want to see you die Sho.." Offered the crying blonde.

"I can't let you do that. Sorry." Aizawa felt the petals no.. They were no longer petals but flowers finding their way to Aizawa's mouth. He tried to get up from the bed to go to the bathroom once more but only ended up collapsing on the floor leaving Hizashi to panic by his side.

"SHO!! SHO!! PLEASE DON'T DIE!! PLEASE DON'T GO!!" Screamed Hizashi his tears running down his face faster than before.

     "Sorry Zashi…"

Hizashi didn't know what to do so he did the first that came to his mind and kissed Shota's bloody lips. Hizashi loved Shouta to much to watch him die in his arms and never get the chance to tell Shouta how much he loved him. Even Hizashi was shocked at his own actions.

"Zashi…?" Questioned the weak raven haired boy.

"I LOVE YOU SHOUTA!!" Yelled and sobbed Hizashi hugging Shouta tightly.

Aizawa could feel the weight off his chest. He no longer felt the pain of thorns piercing his lungs, nor the difficulty to breathe, no more flowers and no more petals. All he could feel was the love and care that Hizashi was giving Shouta. Enough love to melt away the pain and Shouta's heart along with the pain.

Sadly Hizashi backed away from the hug. "Shouta? You.. Your fine!!" This time Hizashi was crying happy tears. "Please don't scare me like that!! Shouta… does this mean… you liked me..?"

"First of all, I like not liked you… and yes… but I never told you…." Now Shouta was crying and couldn't hold back his tears and he explained to Hizashi his reasons for keeping quiet. "You were always telling me that you had a girlfriend and, and… Once I was going to tell you but when I went up to you I heard you tell your other friends that you are straight and would never date a guy because it would disgust you…. So I kept quiet and never told you anything. I knew you would never like me back… but never stopped me from liking you…"

"Shouta I am so sorry…. " sobbed Hizashi. "I only said those things so I could stay popular…. I never had a girlfriend, I always liked you, and I am not straight…. "

Shouta only laid his head on Hizashi's shoulder before speaking "I forgive you in one condition…"

     "Anything!!" Cheered Hizashi.

"Our love is more important than your popularity… please!!" Begged Shouta.

     "Of course!!"

     "Promise?" Questioned Shouta.

     "I promise!!" Reassured Hizashi.

They might have been on the floor but that didn't stop Hizashi from hugging Shouta with love. They cuddle with each other right there on the floor in silence. Soon the silence was replaced with the light snoring from the two boys.
