Chapter Five

 Contemplating Revenge

CHAPTER FIVE

 

Edwards POV

 

I pulled our baby out of Bella’s womb quickly after he fractured her spine only to discover that he was actually a She. My heart filled with joy at seeing her, she was beautiful, just like bella. She had curly bronze colored hair like me, and Bella’s chocolate brown eyes, she smiled at me and then looked at her mother. The smile dropped from her face and she looked at me, her face full of horror. She put her palm on my cheek and images rushed my head accompanied by a… a feeling. It showed Bella, laying on the bed motionless and bloody. Renesmee could hear her mother's heart stop and that broke her heart. She started screaming and pointing to Bella.

“No no no no!” I said as I handed off Renesmee to Carlisle. I went over to bella, sewed her up with my vampiric speed and started CPR.

“Common Bella! You can’t leave us! We need you...the BABY needs you!”
I pumped her chest ten times and blew into her mouth. I continued this for a minute and bit into her neck ignoring the taste of her sweet blood. I continued the compressions.  Dread started to fill my heart the longer this went on. If she died, I didn’t know what I would do. I heard Rosalie come back and take Renesmee from Carlisle. Carlisle immediately went over to the fridge to get the syringe filled with my venom and plunged it into her heart. After a couple more compressions her heart started to beat slowly. I quickly bit her wrists, the inside of her knees and ankles. Maybe that will save her. Carlisle started doing compressions until her heart started to beat faster. I sighed in relief. My venom was working, she was going to be okay.

 

~SETHS POV~

 

I was on patrol when I heard something not to far off, by the river.  I growled and ran, it was a wolf. I got to the river to see Leah drinking from the river. She heard me and turned around. I couldn’t hear her in my head, we couldn’t talk. So I did the only thing I could. I lower my head, flattened my ears and growled loudly at her. Warning her to go home. She lifted her head surprised, growled and ran into the woods.

A few minutes later, she returned in human form. I stood my ground and she scrunched her nose at me.

 

“Did you think I wouldn’t follow you, brother? Especially after no one could hear you! I mean really? The pack things you didn’t want to be a part of this so you ran off! No one thought you would go to the leeches, but here you are! You betrayed us!” Leah yelled.

 

I phased, not caring about my nudity.

 

“I couldn’t let the pack kill Bella.” I replied softly.

 

“Whatever!” She screamed. “I assume they are running?”

 

“Something like that.” I said.

 

“The pack knows you're here, Seth. Sam and Jake are furious with you.”

 

“I know.” I said and ran toward the house. Now that they know where I went they would attack sooner, probably tomorrow or the next day. I sure hope that didn’t happen. Bella was going thru the change. They were stuck here.’

If the pack attacks now, then they’d be kibble.

~BELLAS POV~

 

I was on fire. MY whole body was burning alive. I still couldn’t move or speak but I was screaming and thrashing in me head.I could barely breathe through the fire. I could feel my spine healing back into place. I could feel the incision on my stomach heal, the same with my fractured ribs. The fire was spreading at an alarming rate. I knew something was wrong, that it was too fast. I hoped everything was okay but I also hoped it was over soon. I wanted to see my daughter.

 

~Alice’s POV~

 

I was holding little Renesmee when my vision came.

 

Bella standing by Edward, her eyes were crimson and she was unbelievably beautiful.

 

Bella standing by the windows down stairs, it was dark out, she was holding Renesmee as she smiled down at her Jasper came over and asked to take Renesmee from her.

 

The Danali’s at our front door, it was dark out.

 

Bella shaking Kates hand.

 

Eleazar frowning at Bella, deep in thought.

 

The sun was bright and clear, everyone was in the field including the Egyptian coven.

 

The vision focused on Bella, she was furious.  She lifted her hands and huge boulders raised up from the ground and she sent them flying towards an agent that I couldn’t see.

 

The vision ended and I smiled at little Renesmee.

“Your moma is going to be one kick ass vampire!” I tell her and she grinned. Renesmee was remarkably advanced for a baby. She acted like she was a toddler although she couldn’t walk yet, but she could crawl. She was fifteen hours old and she could crawl.

I’m such a proud auntie.

 

I looked up towards the room Bella was in when I heard her heart stop.

 

I grinned. It’s shopping time!
