donghyuck watched in horror as his teacher and this random lady continued kissing like donghyuck wasn't there. the high schooler felt his face go red as he watched the scene and his whole body shook in fury. finally, after what seemed like an eternity, the two lovers pulled away and that was when mr. kim noticed his student still in the classroom.

"oh donghyuck, i'm sorry. i must say, when you're married sometimes you get a little carried away." the teacher scratched the back of his neck.

yeah, like i would know. i'm not married, thought donghyuck.

"you can go now, mr. lee. stay out of trouble please. i hope you've learned your lesson today, yeah?"

oh, i sure have.

donghyuck flopped down face first on his bed when he got home and groaned into the softness of his mattress. suddenly, he felt his eyes becoming damp.

"oh god, i'm not gonna cry. that's dumb." the tanned boy frowned as he sniffled.

he wiped his tears and shakily took a breath. "it's no big deal, donghyuck. it's a dumb crush. it's a dumb crush. it's a dumb crush on your teacher," the boy said while laughing.

"lots of kids go through this, right?" donghyuck frowned as he felt his beating heart. he didn't feel the best, yet he didn't feel like he was being torn down. it didn't feel like a heartbreak like he would've expected. donghyuck just felt a little disappointed. in himself or in his teacher he didn't know.

now donghyuck suddenly knew why a lot of the other kids who had liked mr. kim soon strayed away from the attractive teacher. the same thing that happened to donghyuck most likely happened to them: they found out the teacher was married happily.

nearly everyone in the school knew mr. kim is married, donghyuck concludes. and now he knows. and once donghyuck knows something, everyone knows.

but wait, there was one student who didn't know about mr. kim's marriage. one that had the same plan as donghyuck, one that loved mr. kim with a passion. the dude that donghyuck hated with his life.

mark lee still doesn't know about mr. kim's married life.

and now donghyuck knew exactly how to lure him into a trap.

"mark fucking lee!" donghyuck sprinted to the boy in the hallways, grabbing his peer's arm roughly.

mark gave him a cold glare. "what do you want?" he shook off the tanned boy's grasp.

"i give up," donghyuck said, acting defeated. he hung his head. "mr. kim... i had detention with him and he told me something i'll never forget, mark..."

mark's face lit up. "what'd he say? spit it out!"

"he... i confessed to him..." lied the younger. "he- he's not interested in me, mark. mr. kim told me he only wanted one of his students... ever since he laid eyes on this boy he wanted him."

"who is it?" mark was practically jumping up and down in his place.

"it's you, mark lee."

mark gasped and his lips turned upward into a smile. "r-really? he said that? you're not kidding?"

donghyuck shook his head, wanting to laugh at his classmate's stupidity. "i'm not. he wants you."

mark glanced around, looking lost. "do i confess to him, then? should i tell him i-"

"no!" donghyuck raised his voice and a few students passing the two gave the tanned boy an odd look. "i mean, not yet. you have to let him know you like him without telling him." donghyuck resisted the urge to laugh like a maniac.

"ah, okay," mark clicked his tongue. "so what do i do now?"

"flirt with him. let him know indirectly you love him."

"so buy him chocolate or some shit?"

donghyuck gave mark a thumbs up and reached into his locker and pulled out a heart shaped box. "that's why i got some. you see, i was planning to give it to my true love... but whatever makes mr. kim happy, makes me happy."

mark took the box. "that's why you're helping me, yeah?"

donghyuck sadly nodded. "i just... i want him to live well. even if i do have to make sacrifices."

mark smiled and nodded brightly. "god, thanks donghyuck. you're the best." the canadian walked away with a skip in his step.

donghyuck smiled evilly and cackled like a villain. "oh my god, he actually believes me!"
