Barely Hanging on Strange Love

Chapter 1.

I stared at the campfire infront of me. 

The music blasting on the deck,couples cuddling on the other side of the campfire,teenagers swimming in the sea and people dancing all around us.

This was an end of summer party at the beach.  

My friends and I are starting college next week. 

We didn't move away from our home town.

The small town, where everybody knew eachother, we all grew up together, and have been in the same class since kindergarden. 

Some people moved to different cities, big and small around the country but most stayed here.  

Our town's college is one of the best in the country, even though it is located in a small town, alot of people know about it. 

You can literally study anything here.

I,Arianna Saphire, am an 18 year old first year college student studying Sociology and Tourism. 2 completely different topics. To add to that I am studying 2 languages,Technology,Photography and Music.

It is a pretty wide range but it's the things that interest me the most.

I have 2 best friends, Ellie Summers and Rachel Constancio, and together we form the 3 amigaaaaaas!

We are all 18, well apart from Ellie. She is turning 18 next month. She is like the little baby out of us. Our thight group of friends also consists of Rhys and Austin.

Rhys was the sensible type of guy. He was dangerous but caring. Mysterious but loving. Sexy but cute. Daring but romantic.

Rhys has short dark brown hair that is usually spiked up,big emerald green eyes and straight white teeth, a good job of the braces he wore during high school.

He was currentaly in a relationship  with Ellie. Rhys and Ellie having been neighbours, grown up together, were no inseperable. Rhys was very protective over her even though they have only just started going out last month.

Austin was your typical jerk and man-whore type. He fucked anything with a pulse and boobs and a vagina. I am still wondering how he doesnt have AIDS or STD's. It's a mystery to all of us.

Austin has short light brown curly hair, Brown eyes and a six pack.

I know for a fact that Rachel has a major crush on Austin but she just won't admit it. Them two have like a love/hate relationship going on but without the love....so far.

Ellie is the baby one. She is the most innocent one out of all of us. She does throw out some dirty jokes here and there but everything about her is innocent.

Her hair is pin straight and flows just below her boobs. Her big brown eyes just add to her innocent look. She has this cute baby face on her which is just adorable.

Rachel forever the blonde one. Rachel's hair is wavy but she mostly straightens it. Her blonde hair flows just past the middle of her back. She has green eyes but the colour is really hard to specify. Once you look straight into her eyes it's very easy to get lost in them.

And then there's me. Forever the ugly duckling. No i'm kidding. I'm not that ugly. I have dark blonde hair that flows just past my shoulders but isn't long enough to flow over my boobs. I have blue-y,grey-ish eyes that turn colour according to my mood. Weird I know. Due to being Polish I have a brown tan. Not bragging but I love it.

Our group of friends consisted of 5 people but that was enough for us. We always cause trouble and what not.

Right now I could see Ellie and Rhys in the water splashing themselves with goofy grins. So adorable I might just puke on the nerdy guy beside me. No offence.

Rachel was off somewhere probably hooking up with a guy,close enough to Austin to make him jelous,who in return will make out with a blonde bimbo right infront of her. This always happens.

And i'm just sitting here by the campfire like the loner I am, with nothing to do. Until a guy with Ed Sheeran type of hair pops out of nowhere and stands infront of me.

'Hi,I'm Jake' He says.

Oh God.
