Chapter 4

Michaels POV-
I watched Mia as she slept. She seemed so peaceful and calm. I started to feel her head again, it felt warmer than it did before. I was starting to get really worried about her.
She started to wake up in my arms. "Hi." I whispered to her.
"Hi." She answered. She didn't look any better.
"Your warmer then you were yesterday." I said biting my lower lip.
"I don't feel much better to be honest. It's probably just a virus or something." She whispered closing her eyes again and snuggling into my chest. "Why are you staying with me here?" She asked
"Because I said I would and I care about you." I said simply. "Do you want to watch a movie or something. I'll make you some soup if you think your up for it."
"Okay." She said resting her head on my shoulder.
I slowly lifted her up and set her back down on the couch. I walked over to the movie selection thing (it's like a round-about with movies on it) and said "what do you want to watch?"
"I don't know. You pick." She said her eyes still closed
"Okay. How about Mulan or Sleeping Beauty or even Beauty and the Beast. Your pick really. Your the sick one." I said
"Let's watch Beauty and the Beast." She said "Wait no! Let's watch Up! The little dog always makes me laugh." She smiled a slight smile.
"Well if it gets you to laugh." I said smiling back at her and putting Up in.
I went to the kitchen and grabbed a balun cube (idk if that's how u spell it so..) and put it in some hot water to wake broth. Stirring it so it would dissolve faster. I came back and gave Mia the cup of soup.
She took it in her little hands, well I guess not that little bit little compared to mine. She took a sip and then set it down next to her. Up started to play as soon as the commercials went on.
I lifted her up and then laid her back down on the couch with me laying down with her in my arms. She snuggled up close to me taking in all my warmth that had radiated to her.
"Are you cold?" I asked as I felt her entire body shake.
"I won't be for long." She said eyes fixated on the movie.
"Okay." I said pulling her closer to me if that was even possible. Half way through the movie Mia fell asleep. I kissed her forehead gently. "Get better soon."
Her only reply was soft breathing. I smiled to myself. She was so beautiful even in her sleep.
The smile soon faded as I started to worry about her. She was burning up. I guess she would just have to sweat her fever out. But I was worried. She just didn't look alright. She looked pale.
