Chapter 1

"X Borg, as a new member of the Moniyan Empire, you will be partnered with someone"

"Tsk, as if I wanted to join this Minyad Emper anyway"

Tigreal glared at him and cleared his throat.

"Like I said, you will be partnered with someone. Come back tomorrow to meet your partner"

"Fine"

*earlier*

'I have to hurry before the elf girl and the soccer guy gets here'

X Borg, as usual, was causing chaos in Eruditio.

"Burn! "

"There! That's where the explosions started! "

"What the- "

X Borg looked at his left in surprise.

'They're already here?! How!? It matters not how, I need to get out of here first'

X Borg started running at the exit when he suddenly feel lightheaded.

"Why am I- "

He then remembered that he didn't ate earlier before starting chaos.

'This is bad. I should have eaten before starting this'

He then saw that they were nearing him now.

'I guess I have no choice. I can't run that fast while dizzy. '

He then tripped and hit his head hard in the ground.

He started to lose consciousness when he heard a woman speak.

"You will be useful to the Moniyan Empire. I guess I have no choice but to save you"

He then completely lost consciousness.

*time skip*

"Ugh, my head. "

X Borg sat up holding his head.

"How long was I'm out? Wait, where am I? "

He was in a cabin. The cabin has almost little to nothing inside. It only has a bed, a bed stand and a table with 2 chairs.

"Good, you're awake"

X Borg turned to the voice and saw a woman.

"I'm Natalia. And don't worry, I won't turn you in"

"In exchange for? "

Natalia looked at him for a second before answering.

"Good, you already know how life goes. I need you to join the Moniyan Empire"

"Why should I? "

"If you don't, I will turn you in and you will never get your revenge against Eruditio for whatever they have done to you"

"You... "

"Well then, what's your answer? "

".........fine"

"Good. You will still join anyway even if you rejected the offer since I already told Tigreal to come and take you"

"You what?! You crazy bit- "

"Language "

X Borg wanted to protest more but knew it would get him nothing.

So he lay down again and went to sleep so he has energy.

*present time*

And that is how X Borg, although not very happy, got into the Empire.

He was given a house so he doesn't have to travel very far when he gets summoned.

"Tsk, I can do everything just fine by myself. Why do they need to give me a partner? "

"Atleast they will give me free food while I still can't do missions. "

And with that being the only thing that cheers him up, X Borg started walking back to his new home.
