I groaned and sat up, rubbing my head. There was aspirin and a glass of water on the bedside table and I downed it gratefully.

Vivi was deep in sleep next to me, still in her party clothes. I got out of bed and took a shower. I changed into normal clothes from Vivi's closet and walked downstairs.

"Hey," I said as I walked into the kitchen.

"Morning, Miss Chloe," her maid replied.

"Do you mind if I make a cup of coffee?"

"I will make it for you."

"Thanks! Could you please put whipped cream on top? A lot?"

"Of course!"

"Thanks! I'll be in Vivi's room. Maybe you could make one for her too."

"Sure."

I went back upstairs and saw that Vivian had woken up.

"Good morning," I greeted.

She groaned. "Ugh, I have a killer headache."

"Did you take the aspirin?"

"Yea I did. Let me go take a shower," she said and headed to the washroom. A few minutes later, her maid arrived with two cups of coffee. I set one down and began sipping on mine.

When Vivi got out, she accepted the coffee gratefully as we sat on the floor cross-legged.

"Mahn, you were so trashed yesterday," I said.

"No I wasn't."

"You kept trying to convince me how hot Cedric is."

"What!"

"Yea. You went on about his abs and jaw and eyes and lips and shoulders and ugh," I shuddered.

"Oh my god... Shit shit shit. Oh fuck, did he hear?"

"Fortunately not."

"Oh thank god."

"Do you seriously find him that attractive?"

"Duh! I mean, look at him. He looks like Luke Eisner, but with shorter, less blond hair."

"Is he that hot guy in Tall Girl?"

"Yea, him."

"Hmm, I guess so. But that guy is way hotter."

"Nah, Cedric is."

"You've got to be kidding me. That guy is a model!"

"Well, Ced could be one."

I facepalmed.

I sighed as I entered home.

"Chloe! Where the hell have you been?!" Mother shouted.

"I was at Vivi's. And I don't get why you're freaking out, I have a frickin bodyguard tagging me around," I said.

"Keith, why didn't you bring her home?"

"I'm extremely sorry ma'am, she-" Keith started but I cut him off.

"Don't put this on Keith, you're just being ridiculously unreasonable," I said and headed upstairs. I sighed and flopped on my bed and of course, that's when Carson decided to show up.

"Hey darling," she said, shutting the door behind her.

I bolted upright. "What the fuck, Carson? Get out!"
