I heard the whispers the moment I stepped into school.

Slut.

Bitch.

Hoe.

Great. What had happened now? Who was their new victim?

Vivi and Cedric were at my locker.

"Did you hear the rumours?" Vivi asked anxiously.

"Kinda. Who are they slut shaming?"

Vivi and Cedric exchanged a nervous glance. Cedric looked furious.

"Who is it?" I asked.

"You," Vivi said and bit her lip nervously.

"Me?!"

Vivi nodded.

I was flabbergasted. "But why?"

"One of Shannon's minions were there at the charity yesterday."

"So?!" I thundered.

"Well... she might have seen you hugging Adrian and elaborated on that..."

"What the fuck! What. The. Fuck!"

"If Shannon was a guy," Cedric muttered furiously, "he'd be pulp by now!"

I sighed. "You know what? I don't care."

"What? But the rumours..."

"Whatever. I have more important things to worry about," I said, watching Caleb slam his locker shut. He was purposefully avoiding my gaze.

"That's brave," said Vivi.

"I am so done with all this petty drama. Let the haters say what they want to, they're just jealous."

Suddenly, all three of our phones pinged. It was Dylan.

D: come outside fr the revelation of a lifetime ;)

Curious, we hurried outside. There was nothing unusual, just a lot of students milling about in the parking lot and front lawn.

A bike came to a screeching halt at the drop off. Dylan and Levi got off the bike and my jaw dropped.

"Bye," Dylan said.

"Have a good day," Levi smiled.

Dylan smiled and leaned forward and kissed Levi square on the mouth.

Loud gasps issued from everyone there, us included. Everyone's jaw was on the floor, eyes wide as saucers.

Levi kissed him back passionately and they pulled back, huge grins covering their faces. Alexa, George, Vivi, Cedric and I cheered loudly. Slowly, others joined in.

Levi hugged Dylan and drove away on his motorcycle, beaming happily.

Dylan walked to us and he looked so happy that I was glad he had Levi. I rushed forward and hugged him hard.

"I am so proud of you," I said.

He grinned. "Thanks! I feel so... free."

The others came forward too, patting him on the back and smiling widely.

Dylan looked overwhelmed. "Thank you, guys. I appreciate your support, it means a lot to me."

Of course, he also got some nasty looks and nastier comments, but he ignored them.

The bell rang and Alexa, Dylan and I headed to class.

"Wow, what a perfect pair," drawled a familiar, sickening voice.
