Her sworn Angel

First day back to school

Yukino's pov

It had been a week since Minerva and I moved into our apartment together. I was happy to be safe knowing that she was nearby. Since I saw Karen Minerva made it clear that she would protect me but I couldn't help but think of what she said to Karen.

"Friend, that's too light. Yukino's my girlfriend."

When I heard her say that I was blushing.

'Did she really mean that?'

I put on my uniform and went to the living room only to see Minerva waiting for me.

"I'm off."

She raised a brow.

"Is something wrong?"

"You go to a private school?"

"Yes."

"I'll take you, tell me the way."

"Okay."

We both left and Minerva drove me to school.

When we got to my school Minerva's eyes widened in shock.

"This place is huge."

"It's a private school for high school. I'm in my last year."

Minerva looked at me.

"Wait, you're a minor?"

"Yep. 17 but will be 18 after winter break."

I noticed she looked saddened about something then I smiled.

"I'll be off school at 2pm see you later."

With that I went in to go to my class.

Minerva's pov

I left after Yukino went inside and drove back to the apartment. I wondered on what to do while I waited but then I frowned.

"Damn it. Yukino's a minor."

I looked at the clock, I had six hours until Yukino was done. I wondered what I could do until then. 

I recalled something.

Yukino already paid the rent for the month so maybe I could pay the bills.

I went on the apartment's site only to learn that all the utilities were included into the rent. After that I wondered if I should pay for the extra stuff such as food and personal items. While Yukino's at school I'll keep the apartment together.

I smiled and got to work.

2 hours later

I was on the couch again then I looked at my phone.

"She's a senior, I wonder what she's studying?"

I stood up and went to look through a site on jobs. 

Growing up I learned how to camp in a survival way and how to fix cars. That's how I got my truck.

Wait, that' it.

I left the apartment and went to look for a automobile shop that was looking for workers.

I soon found one and this person told me that they were short handed but they were looking for someone who knew how to take cars apart and actually fix the problem. I told them I could and the man put me to the test very quickly.

To my surprised he timed me and was impressed. 

I got hired on the spot but something in me told me not to tell Yukino.
