Ren banged on the closed iron door, trying to catch Doc's attention. Well, Ren didn't, his spectator did. Something had made him as panicked as Ren was currently.
"Don't trust him!" He yelled, banging so hard their fists started to bleed. Ren winced, but the spectator didn't seem to care. Loud fighting erupted from somewhere further from the door, screams and the clashing of weapons.
The spectator stepped back from the wall, scowling. If it had been released, there maybe no way to kill it. Unless...

As the sword came to Doc's throat, he snapped. He bring his trident back around to meet the weapon. Doc took a step back, needing more space for his longer weapon. That was a mistake as 'Etho' took the chance to stab at his leg. It just missed the bone, pain shooting up his nerves. Doc swung around and tried to poke his adversary away, giving him ample room to lunge. The trio of prongs embedded into the other's flesh, forcing them to hang limlly from the trident.
Doc removed the trident, letting the body fall to the floor. He turned to leave, not wanting to look at his dead friend. He walked to the other end of the hallway, ignoring the cells, footsteps echoing around the now silent corridor. The bright lights seemed dimmer, the air colder. Doc stood in front of the door, ready to pry it open with his bare hands.
He stepped forward, ready to open it, when the door exploded inwards. He just about had the sense to duck as the iron flew overhead, smashing into the cell behind it. The glass cracked, and growling was heard. Doc stood up, recognising Ren looking up at him. He ran past him, grabbing his arm. They were not staying to find out who they had awaken.
