Nice Try

Chanel began taking out the ingredients to make the coffees for everyone.

The girls tried to help her but she refused and said she wanted to do it herself.

As she was making Valentino's coffee, she was hesitant.

After a while she made it and placed it on the silver tray,

Just as she was about to walk back Chance shouted giving Chanel the biggest fright, causing her to almost slip the coffees.

"Stop Chanel! We have to put salt in it"

"Chanc-" Chanel spoke before getting cut off by the other girls.

"Yes!" Dove exclaimed.

"You're so right!" The youngest giggled.

Suddenly Paris grabbed pepper. "Whats salt without pepper?" She snickered.

Laughing, Valentino's sister Autumn joined in.

"Good idea!"

'Great. Even his sister is plotting against him.'

"Listen girls, this is just a forced marriage, not a real one. He didn't really come to ask for my hand in marriage. This is pointless." Chanel rolled her eyes sighing.

"But he chose you out of your other sisters! We have to see if he loves you girl!" Chance said as she pushed Chanel out the kitchen,

Earning an annoyed groan from Chanel as her steps quickened because of her best friend.

"Ugh."

Before she knew it, the girls quickly ran out and stopped her before she was fully out the kitchen.

They had put only a hint of salt but Pandora had put even more in now with a dash of cinnamon.

'This guy is going to die with all the salt in it'

Chanel had sighed once more and rolled her eyes before entering the living room.

She began handing the traditional Turkish coffees to the eldest then to youngest, excluding Valentino.

There were now two coffees left.

The normal and the "special".

Noah had reached out for the special one before Chanel snatched the tray and pulled it backwards before clicking her tongue and raising her eyebrows gesturing "That's not yours. The other is."

The younger boy laughed and shook his head before grabbing the other.

It was now only one.

The one for him.

She stood in front of him, trying to hide the excitement building up inside her by each minute that passed by.

Even though she got angry at the other girls, she couldn't help but feel curious.

Maybe if he snapped at her in front of her, they might cancel the marriage in fear.

They both stared at each other before Valentino finally reached in and gently lifted the coffee of his tray.

Chanel took a step back and hugged the now empty tray in front of her chest as she waited for the man to take a sip.

Before Chanel and the girls came out with the coffees, the others in the living room were all chatting whilst Faith would constantly stare at Valentino making it obvious.
