Chapter Sixteen;

Gun

Yes. Xavier.

Before Valentino and Chanel could even process what was happening,

Xavier had came rushing towards Chanel and immediately wrapped his arms around her waist whilst holding her as she stood on the tip of her toes.

He always did this to Chanel when they were seven years old. It was nostalgia for her.

She smiled and looked into his brown eyes before wrapping her arms around his neck, forgetting the presence of Valentino.

Xavier smiled back.

Valentino had scoffed and made his way to Chanel's family, greeting them. Pacifica had then hugged him.

Chanel glanced at them from above Xaviers shoulder. 'What is she doing?'

'No. In fact. What is he doing hugging her back?' She furrowed her eyebrows.

Noticing her anger, Xavier turned his head back and knew what was going on.

"Wow. Some boyfriend you have there little Chanel." Xavier spoke whilst chuckling.

Chanel rolled her eyes.

"How about you get back at him?" Xavier smirked.

Before she could reply, Xavier had lifted her arm up and spun her around to the other side.

Xaviers and Chanel's side view was now facing Valentino.

Without any thing began said, Xavier started laughing and Chanel just gave him a small, awkward smile.

She slightly glanced at Valentino. He had his hand lower down Pacifica's back. She just laughed and put her hand on his chest.

Chanel was practically thanking god that the photographers taking the photos weren't taking their pictures and continued on with her family.

"Chanel." Xavier caressed Chanel's cheek and moved closer to her.

Not paying attention to Xavier, she watched Valentino move his hand even lower as he also pulled Pacifica even closer.

Their bodies were touching and he had cupped her chin.

He then looked at Xavier and Chanel and smirked and waved at them.

The anger that grew in Chanel caused her to harshly press her lips onto Xavier's without thinking.

Though, without resisting, Xavier had kissed her back as he pulled her closer.

'What am I doing? I'm getting married and I'm making out with my childhood best friend.' Chanel shut her eyes.

She didn't know what Valentino was doing anymore but when she moved back and opened her eyes. She blinked as she saw Valentino towering over Xavier.

Just at that moment, Xavier turned around and was greeted by Valentinos fist across his face.

Losing his balance, he immediately falls to the ground.

They began fighting as Chanels family began screaming. Including Chanel.

She was frightened.

But, all Valentino could think about was how Xavier had no shame or respect.

He believed that both could play the 'Make each other jealous game',

Yet he didn't know it would escalate this far.

When Valentino got pushed off Xavier and rolled underneath him. He took the advantage to take out his gun.

He didn't care about Chanel's loud, frightened screams coming from Chanel.

Xavier gripped onto Valentinos arm.

Valentino fought hard to aim the gun at him and he had fought back hard to turn the gun away.

Except, Valentino managed to pull the hammer of the gun back so he could pull the trigger to fire straight away.

Chanel was just inches behind them.

Still aiming the game at Xavier's head, he struggled.

The gun was pointing everywhere.

Before Valentino could even pull the trigger, the gun fired.

Leaving Xavier with wide eyes but also Valentino with the same expression.
