Crap. This is crap. 6 hours in this stupid code room and I have found out nothing but crap. A dot. And then a dot. And then a line under it. What the heck does that even mean. BBBBBBUUUUUUZZZZZZ! BBBBBBBUUUUUUUUZZZZZZZZ! There was a loud buzz through out the code room. I ran outside to see if it was just the code room. No. BBBBBBBBUUUUUUUZZZZZZ! I'm scared. "WHAT IS THAT?!" I try to yell over it. The men run by me and grab me. One man hauls me over his shoulder and starts running through the palace doors. Sweat drenched both of us. There was a big crowd surrounding the center of the room. I could see the king above everyone else. He seemed in deep thought. I tried pushing through, but everyone was bigger and stronger. I couldn't ask anyone because I didn't understand their language yet. I decided to leave when I had a better thought. I stayed hidden behind a sculpture until it was over. It was only 15 minutes later until people started filing out. But I heard all I needed to hear. "You have a partner." The king told someone. "His name is Alex. He will help you and you two are the fate of the earth. Now go." He said. That was all I needed to hear. I peeked around the sculpture to see who the king was talking to. She was striking. Blue eyes with blond flowing hair. She wore jeans and a blue t-shirt with high brown boots. I realized that she was probably heading for the code room. I was trying to sneak out when I ran into the king. "Where have you been? I was hoping you would be here so I could introduce you to Aliyah." He tells me. "I tried to see but I was stuck behind everybody. So I decided to hide behind that sculpture. I listened to that whole thing. Then tried to sneak out when it ended. That's when I ran into you. But I did see her. She's striking." I tell him. "Well go. She's headed to the code room." I left and took a short cut through some house's yards. I entered the code room with a blast of energy. Five minutes later Aliyah arrived. "Hey." she said. "Hey" I said back. "This is the code room right?" "Do you see the maps and codes?" "Sorry." "It's hard to get a joke in around here. So I do when I can." "Oh" "Let's get started" "Ok." we studied the codes for an hour when she struck me with something that I hadn't thought about yet. ""How long have you been here?" She asks me. "Two days. Why?" "Haven't you noticed. The king was the last person who arrived here. And that was some ninety-six years ago." "So." I interrupt. "Soooooo." She says. "why would there be two people in two days. Whatever is about to happen to our earth. It's gotta be bad." I didn't think about that." We went back to working and before we knew it, it was time to go. It was a successful day. We figured out simple words like hi. Hi is pronounced ga. Before we left, I said something that might change our lives forever. "We should start using these words, you know." "Yeah, I guess so." She said and we walked to our houses for sleep.
