I planned it all out.
Pick her up and compliment her style, take her to that diner she likes so much and let her order whatever she craved for.
Then we'd go to the beach or hang out in the park, listen to music or talk- whichever and return her safely back home just in time for the surprise.
Finding her passed out was not on this list, calling her parents while driving like a demon was not on my list. Hearing the doctor's apology and final verdict on her life was not on my list.
I took out the ring box from my pocket. I thought I... planned it all out.
