Land of Dreams

Months

Many months had passed and I was fully trained. I didn't feel any fear, mercy or bad for killing. It felt good, the smell of blood was so strong and so fresh that I couldn't stop myself from killing. I even had forgotten my old myself which was weak, powerless and useless. The old me wouldn't understand that, not even my parents. I hadn't thought of them these past four months and now it's mid spring. It's still a bit cold outside but you can get used of it.
The King plans on taking the whole Alfheim. I have been learning about that land. From the pictures I could see that it is beautiful out there and people are happy, but I also know that those eleven Lords who rule different lands of Alfheim have different powers and even shapes. The King told me to spy on the Lord which has the biggest land in Alfheim and is the most powerful Lord in history. I wonder if my King is powerful enough to defeat him. That would be an interesting fight.

"Tomorrow you and two of my best men will go there to spy. If you fail - you will be punnished. While you do that I need you to bring me his ring." Then he looked at me. "Silver with moon stone in the middle. That's all you have to know and do. Good luck."
Well, that will be fun knowing that two of his best men can't speak. Their tongues were ripped out because of disobeying the King.

The morning.
I woke up like a dead human who is lazy and can't do a shit. I looked through out the window and saw that those two spies are getting their weapons ready. Then I rushed to the bathroom, got ready and met them outside near the wall. Took my blade and my mask. Now I am ready to go and kick some asses.
When those men were ready, we took each others hands and closed our eyes. Clear minds were good for quick teleportation to the destination we needed.
When we appeared there I felt different air around me, different ground and freedom. It was good but we had a mission to do. As we walked throughout the forest we saw some wild animals, huge mountains surrounding us and a beautiful morning sky. It was still dark but the sky started to become red and stars slowly started to disappear.
We stopped. One man who was walking in front of me made a sign to lay down and listen. We actually heard some noise. Suddenly they appeared a few meters away from us but they couldn't see us. I was surprised that the couple weren't humans at all. They were fairies. They just looked taller, had pointy ears and wings. Beautiful and colourful wings.
When I was looking at them and admiring their looks one man shot them both with two arrows and a bow. It was quick and quite death. They didn't run and didn't shout for help.
Other man showed a sing that we have to go and showed to which direction.

Hours have passed and we stopped a bit to eat. For dinner there was a cooked rabbit. Fresh and delicious. And for dessert I found some blackberries which we all shared.
It was dark out here. We were quite and quick. We didn't made a single sound as we walked thought the forest. And suddenly we saw a huge house. Dark and mysterious. Few lights were coming out from the windows. We knew where were we. It was His place, His court.
We agreed to separate and cover more land as we tried to brake in. We hid our food and other stuff behind a big tree and went our ways. We had a plan if one of us will fall into captivity, not a single word about the mission and who send us. Well, that was the most relevant to me.
I made my way on the roof. No sound from the inside. Maybe he is sleeping? That would be easy I thought. Few steps further I saw a small balcony and jumped on it. I am inside. Now, the ring.
I walked in complete darkness. All I saw were a few paintings on the walls, huge stairs, doors and a corridor.
Suddenly the candles were on like magic. Now I could see where I was going but that meant that He knew that someone broke into his house. I started running. Didn't look back and didn't want to. But something was wrong. It felt that I had already been here. It felt like that dream when I was running down the hall.

And the stars. Those stars in the night sky were the last thing I saw that night.
