Author's Note

The Mobile Bloxxers is a Sci-Fi military-themed group on a free game called Roblox. The Mobile Bloxxers are based off of a TV show called "Roughneck's Starship Troopers Chronicles", which aired until around 2001 due to a lack of funding. After a man, who goes by the name "Wordsarecool", on Roblox, came up with the idea for the Mobile Bloxxers, he has created a daily-running "sequel" of the show. This is just a story I came up with, and is not, in any way, an actual event, though some of the characters, technology, and planets are used in the every day life of a Mobile Bloxxer.

Prelude

The morning started off like any morning: A pulse of electricity surges through my body. That would be the systems turning on. As I open my eyes, the room turns red. The downside to prosthetic eyes, in the Infantry, is that they glowed. So, when I woke up, the whole cabin woke up. Because of this, the waking bugle, if you will, woke up everyone else but anybody in the same cabin I'm in.

As I got up, yawned, and stretched, I went off to go get my uniform. After I got my uniform on, I reported to the mess hall. That's where the average day stopped. "War of the Worlds!" a news anchor on the TV said. "After a skirmish against our former allies, the Slanyans, was set off by an unruly squad of CPLs and PVTs, the United Armies of Slanya, or UAOS, declared a cease of the Human/Slanyan Treaty, and stated a DOW and raided the capital city!"

After seeing this, I knew it'd only be a matter of time before people would start turning on me.

I am a Slanyan. I am Commander Cama "SAW" Hertose. And this is my story.

Chapter 1: Hidden in the Crowd

Then, a man in a gray powersuit wearing a black hat and sunglasses walked into the room. That would be General Edvarn. "Alright, men, we're heading out. Everyone in this room is, officially, in a scout and patrol party." Edvarn stated. He assigned different people to different squads. SAW happened to get into the same squad he did the best in: With Commander iloldtoday, Commander brightstormshadow, and Sergeant HolyAngelKnight (who is an SSU unit, which made him the recon of the squad).

After heading out to the courtyard of the base, the team climbed into a Skimmer, a medium-sized, unarmed troop transport VTOL. The squad's assignment was to patrol the skies out of the city, out in the mountains. After SAW, the squad's pilot, got to position, he could see the land patrol directly below. But something wasn't right. The Gator UV was not moving. "This is the Hydora, do you copy, squad 3?" SAW said, over the comns. There was nothing but static. "I think we should get down there, see what's wrong" ilold suggested. Ilold was a former Vaktovian Colonal, so he had slightly more experience than SAW.

SAW brought the Skimmer down. SAW stayed with the Skimmer as the others went and investigated. "Hey, are you guys OK? You weren't moving, so we figured you'd need some..." Holy said, but stopped. Most of the RB Patrol unit was dead, and a few were missing. "Check the buggies!" Bright said. The escorts were, also, dead. But what was strange was that there were explosion marks on the buggies. The others may not have known what had happened, or what caused the explosion marks, but SAW did. The new threat was closer than any of MB thought. Not even SSU suspected how close to home the Slanyans were. It was bad enough Slanya was just one moon and a planet away...

Part 2

Immediately, the squad boarded back into the Skimmer, and the VTOL took off. "This is squad 4, base do you read?" Holy said, over the comns, trying to bring the event aware to base.

"This is General edvarn, what is the situation, squad 4?"

"Squad 3 has been destroyed about 200 yards away from Mount Roosevelt!"

"Were there any survivors?"

"No, but there are several missing members!"

"Return to base immediately, I'll declare a state of contact."

"Yes, sir, we are--"

Holy never got to finish, again... The left engine on the Skimmer exploded. Then a bit of the cockpit.

"We're taking fire! Brace for impact!" SAW announced to the squad. As the Skimmer plummeted to the ground, more shots were lobbed. Eventually, the comns was destroyed. When the Skimmer crashed to the ground, the squad, miraculously, survived. The only serious injuries were dealt to SAW. He lost his arms and legs, but he was a cyborg. We was always loosing his prosthetics in the line of fire...

Luckily for SAW, there was a medkit that survived the crash, and it didn't take much medical training to know how to give SAW new prosthetics. While bright fixed up Cama, the rest of the squad picked up their weapons; slug guns, Moritas, SHACs, shocksticks, handguns, and more. The squad was going on a hunt for whatever it was that shot down their Skimmer, and it, probably, wasn't a raider...

Along the way to the raider base, a voice screamed out, "HELP! HELP!!" It was Major Exraider. The attackers must have kept him hostage after the attack... As the squad ran towards the location of the call, several loud shots rang out. The squad's skin ran white, and ilold's pale, Vaktovian skin... well, it just went from white to institutional white, as Robloxians call it...

But, then, a figure appeared around the corner of the cliff... It was Ex! "Ex! You're alive!!" SAW shouted with relief. "But, but the gunshots... we thought you were dead!" Holy pointed out. "I managed to get one of the hostiles' guns in a struggle, and shot them all. They're all dead." Exraider said.

"Just curiousity, what did the attackers look like? Regular raiders?" SAW asked.

"They weren't human. Some of them wore masks, others helmets, and one didn't have a helmet OR mask; just bare skin. Well... fur. They were wolves, almost, but they stood upright, had the ability to carry things with their paws, and they spoke a strange language. My guess is that it wasn't a human language, either. As for their clothes, it was ragged and torn layers of cloaks. They also had on powersuits, under their cloths, and shoulder pads that had a symbol on one, and symbols unique to each of them-- my guess, rank insignias."

SAW went pale again. He very much knew what Ex was describing... He was describing members of the United Armies of Slanya-- the military force of Cama's homeworld. Their technology was equal, if not more advanced, than the Mobile Bloxxers. This military power would be a challenge for the Mobile Bloxxers to take on alone. Luckily, MB has allies who are also defending Earth. God knows if they were getting striked by the UAOS, yet, but it was obvious they would, eventually. It was time that all the powers of Earth stopped fighting each other, and, instead, fight ALONGSIDE each other, if they were to survive.
