"Myles..."
"I didn't..." Myles nervously rubbed the back of his neck and shifted slightly on his footing "I didn't realize you worked here."
This certainly wasn't how Hayden expected to be displayed when he came across an ex boyfriend - he would have preferred it not to be when his shirt was caked in flour and he didn't illuminate the scent of burnt coffee beans. Especially, if the ex boyfriend was Myles Jamerson, the boy with the broken heart.
"I'll just be going. Sorry for bothering you." Myles twiddled with the stray strings from his worn sweater sleeves before he turned to leave.
In that moment Hayden realized two things. First: he was undeniably, uncontrollably and unfathomably still in love with his high school boyfriend. And second: Myles was homeless.
What Hayden did next surprised him. He stepped forward eagerly, as through he wanted to reach out for the other man.
"Stay."
Check out my newest novel Polaroids and Coffee! It is a BoyxBoy, but it holds the same heart, romance and family feels that all my other stories have. Find it on my profile and give it a read! I would greatly appreciate it!
