"Wait, I'm sorry your going to have to repeat that. Did you just say, you're engaged!?" Jimin almost yelled but stopped himself once he saw the warning glance The Prince was sending him. "Kim Taehyung, notorious whore is engaged? Like actually settling down?"
Taehyung scoffed at the accusation. "I am not settling down."
"Wow. You haven't even met the woman yet and you're already thinking of cheating on her!" Jimin chuckled. Kicking at the pebbles beneath his feet as they strolled through the Olympian garden. "I wonder what she looks like. Bloody hell, what if she's hideous?"
"I'll refuse and throw myself from the highest tower." Taehyung spoke rather seriously as he looked almost disgusted by the idea of having a hideous wife.
"Dramatic much?"
The Prince rolled his eyes. "Like you wouldn't do the same."
"Well do you know her name at least?"
"My mother said she remembers the baby girl's name being Jisoo." Taehyung says. Quickly realizing that was the first time he said the name out loud. Jisoo...Jisoo..I'm engaged to a Jisoo.
"Kim Taehyung is marrying the Princess of the Forgotten Kingdom. I wouldn't have saw this coming and usually your life is very predictable."
"What does that even mean?" Taehyung questioned not afraid to slap the back of his friend's head. Quite tired of his snarky remarks on the whole ordeal. Although he knows he shouldn't expect anything else from Park Jimin.
"It means, I've known you my entire life and practically know you better than you probably know yourself ," he says before quickly adding, "Now that I think of it, when you become King, I'll make an excellent hand."
"That hardly explains you thinking my life is predictable and also if you continue to irritate my mind I'll find someone else to be my hand." Taehyung grins.
"When does the Forgotten Princess arrive?"
The Prince shrugs his shoulders. "Father is very hush about the whole thing. Apparently her father died a few days ago and instead of mourning the man, she's trying to marry me instead. Now what does that tell you about her?"
"That's she's persistent." Jimin laughed.
The conversation was cut short by the sound of giggles coming from tables in the garden. Peaking from behind the bush full of roses, Taehyung and Jimin were met with the sight of Princess Jennie and her ladies having lunch.
"Good evening ladies." Taehyung smoothly drew out as he settled in the space between Jennie and Joy. Swinging his arms around the both of them.
The table of women apart from his sister who just sat there with a frown on her features quickly bowed in presence, sporting flushed faces.
"You think your slick don't you?" Jennie softly hisses. Sending her brother a glare as she pushes him away from both Joy and herself.
The Princess doesn't know if her brother knows that she is aware that he's involved himself with Lady Joy and as much as she could give two fucks of what her brother is up to with his sex life, she still didn't approve of him flaunting around Joy like it wasn't dangerous enough.
Women don't have sex before marriage and obviously Joy was not married.
"We we're just talking about the Forgotten Kingdom." Jimin said which immediately garnered a glare from Taehyung who was three seconds away from throwing his friend across the yard.
"My cousin once told me she knew someone that visited the Forgotten Kingdom and when they returned he had bruised and cuts all over his body."
"Really?" Jennie questioned.
"Mhm. I hear the people over there are very odd and into like orgies and things like that." The one called Nayeon spoke. A sense of judgement heavy on her tone.
"Now how could you possibly know any of that is true?" Jimin questioned as he took the empty seat next Jennie's side. "People of House Paragon haven't been spotted in years and I've always heard they turn away anyone that approaches their gates even people seeking refugee."
"I wonder what happened," Yeri softly speaks. "My grandmother before she passed away told me of the Forgotten Kingdom and how they thrived well in Estiya. Very friendly folk up until they were banished of course."
"Alright can we stop talking about the kingdom that absolutely no one cares about. They we're banished for a reason and quite frankly, I can give two shits about the stupid house." Taehyung snapped. Annoyed by the new topic.
Jimin snickered. "A bit harsh don't you think?" Finding the obvious frustration in best friend's outburst amusing.
"Don't listen to him ladies. My brother is only upset because he's recently learned that he has to marry the Forgotten Princess." Jennie reveals. Earning a collective group of gasps from the women sitting at the table. She immediately glanced up to find her brother already looking at her, a scowl deepened into his features.
Maybe she did it on purpose. Maybe she hoped it would stop whatever Joy and Taehyung had going on before it could ruin her reputation far beyond repair and by the look in Joy's eyes, she might have succeeded.
"Bitch," he cursed.
"Oh how I love you too big brother. Have a good day now!" Jennie shooed both Taehyung and Jimin off with a twinkled wave and pretty smile.
"Have I told you how much I admire your sister?" Jimin whispered. Happily twinkling the tip of his fingers right back with a dreamy smile on his face. Which only earned a hard punch on his shoulder from none other than Taehyung himself.
"How many times have I told you not to mention your weird obsession with my sister?"
"You just called her a bitch!" Jimin hissed, rubbing his shoulder.
"And?" The Prince responded. "She's my sister, I'm allowed to. What you're not allowed to do is talk about her. Actually don't even look at her and definitely do not twinkle your fucking fingers at her!"
"You're such an ass." Jimin laughed, shaking his head. "Go have sex or something and blow off some steam."
Taehyung grimaced at Jimin's suggestion and briefly glanced behind his shoulder to find Joy talking to his sister. "I'm afraid my very annoying sister just ruined who I use to blow steam off with."
