Prologue

Long story short Tina and I have a bet on who wins and we are assigning judges to see who takes it. Oh Tina? Apprentice or not I aim to win and please my audience. Once again you need to see the smoke screens. Good luck Princess.

Just a side note this is going to be a prequel and eventually a time skip.

A look outside of the train and any normal being would think this is a portal going to nowhere. But to a Devil not having his first rodeo, he/she knows this train is the shuttle to The Underworld. As this was your first time as you smiled out of the window with Sirzechs sitting straight across from you.

"It's only about an hour ride. No stops." Clarified Sirzechs.

"Alright. I can live with that." The two of you are playing cards at a table. You pick them up. "My deal." You shuffle them up and deal the two of you five cards.

"Jacks and twos wild correct?" Asked Sirzechs.

"Of course." You smirked. Sirzechs discards three cards and picks up. He checked his cards and nodded. You ditch two and pick up your two cards and smile wisely. "You first."

He laid down a six to ten straight with a two being the wild card for the seven. "Straight."

Then you place down a six, a jack, another six, a ten, and a four. "Three of a kind. 666."

"Lucky you."

"Indeed." Your deal.

This was going to go on for a while now as they were waiting for the shuttle to reach the Gremory manor. You have never seen it before. So killing time with some cards and some basic conversation was the way to do it. It was just the two of you. Two eighteen year olds about to have a getaway for training and spending time with important figures.

"So apparently when he get to the house we got some assistants." Said Sirzechs.

"Really?"

Sirzechs smiled. "Yes. I was told four maids are going to rotate around to see if we need anything."

"Four? Little much."

"Well hope we don't get hurt. Otherwise two could be perfect or possibly not enough. They're all good. Four seems satisfactory. Speaking of," He laid down his cards. "Quad nines."

"Damm. Three kings." You gather the cards and shuffle. "So any idea on who is assigned to us?"

"Not sure. Though the four of them will rotate around probably and they will introduce themselves. They are quite the something. Some graceful, others fun, a few flirty, and the works."

"Speaking of flirty- nah forget it."

"Wife talk again?" He grinned.

"Zex. C'mon man you know what I'm talking about. Surely you would like a woman or two in your position. You're the Devil King now. You can marry or even rotate. That choice is yours. Just wish I could find one."

"Hey if you find someone let me know. Though there are dozens and dozens or maids..." He hinted.

"Hold on Chief, you're telling me that this training comes along with a lady?" You liked the sound of this.

"It may." He winked.

"Well then. Find a saxophone player." You chuckled.

"His name is Verdel. You might meet him."

"Ha. I'll take it."

A few more rounds and then the shuttle came to a stop. Now time to grab your bag and descend down to the ground. The view is nice on where you going to be staying. The manor as bug as one could imagine, the gardens, and more. This estate was bigger than one's imagination. It was just all too good. You fly down with Sirzechs on your right and gradually lead to touchdown on the marble in front of the steps to the home.

"Wow..."

"Impressive I know. Shall we?" He pointed.

"Please."

Up the steps you could only imagine the massively tall ceilings, the amount of rooms, and more. Then you step in. The maids are waiting as soon as you arrive.

"Welcome home Master." Said one maid. This one had green hair and brown eyes. With a happy smile and pleased to greet the two of you.

"Yay you're home." Chimed another maid with brown hair.

"Good afternoon Master." Another with silver hair bowed. "And sir it's a pleasure to meet you."

"Welcome home Master. And our guest. The two of you look so handsome." A blonde licked her lips.

Sirzechs smiled. "Thank you ladies. (FN) this is Jade, Rina, Grayfia, and Mya. I guess they are the ones that will be taking care of us during our stay."

"Good to meet you ladies." You reply.

"May we take your bag sir?" Asked Grayfia.

"Thank you Grayfia."

"You're The Jack's Knight aren't you?" Asked Mya.

"Yes I am. First Knight to Lord Sirzechs."

"Ohhh. Maybe you need those sexy muscles massaged?" She smirked.

"Well-"

"Alright get a move on." Insisted Jade moving her to work.

"Hey no fair." Complained Mya.

"Get back to work. Your husband search can continue another time."

"C'mon. At least let go of my hair."

You and Sirzechs laughed as now it was just the two of you, Rina, and Grayfia. "This is amazing." You gave the front entrance a nice look."

"Well sir may I escort you to your room?" Offered Grayfia.

"Please. Thank you very much." You smiled at her.

"Anything for a guest."

"Thanks Grayfia. And if you can, call me (FN). It's much easier for me."

"Will try." She flew up in the air and hoisted your luggage up. "Follow me."

"Man this is cool. Totally awesome. Can't wait to start this getaway."

"Have fun." Called Sirzechs.

"Shall we Master?" Asked Rina taking his bag.

"Thank you. Lead the way."

This was going to be a start for you going forward. The getaway and training were really going to make a man out of you. The maids were nice and going to give you and Sirzechs good company. Although you thought about what Sirzechs said and certainly took notice to Mya's actions and to what Jade said. This companion business was tricky.

Hey Tina, good luck. About a year ago or so I honestly thought this would be no contest. Thinking you would just skunk me. But it looks a little even now. Three to four hours of plot and thought this is it. Another difficult challenge. But I try not to shy away from them.
