As Loren got back stage, she did her vocal warm ups; "Falling like the stars, im falling fast and hard, for something outta-" Loren was cut off by coughing. Eddie walked up to her with a flower. Loren tried to say "Thank You." but, she couldnt. She tried. Eddie's mouth dropped open. No one could believe that she lost her voice. She drank water and took some medicine. She stopped talking for about 5 minutes.
*5 MInutes Later*
She tried to say, "Check, check, 1,2,3." but she still couldnt. She gasped, well not really. Tears started to roll down her cheeks.
"Whoa, babe dont cry." said Eddie, as he came in for a hug. Loren cried without saying a word. Eddie rolled his thumb down Loren's cheek, wiping away the tears. "Babe, It's going to be okay. Just remember, we can always change the date. Its a 7 day festival. I can get you booked in Florida if you want! Just dont do this tonight. I bet you feel better by tomorrow." Eddie said, giving her a grin. Loren ran her fingers through his hair and pulled his head to kiss him. Loren got a post-it and wrote down; Eddie, you always find the right way to make me feel better :)
Eddie read the post-it note and smiled. Eddie picked her up and Loren had a 'what are you doing?' face. Eddie took her to the couch in her dressing room. Luckily, no one was in the room. Max and Nora were probaly making out somewhere. Kelly and Jake were probaly talking about Traci. Mel and Adam were probaly looking at videos.
Eddie laid Loren on the couch and went under her. They kissed making her feel better. Loren smiled and said, "Wo-" she got cut off by surprise. "I got my voice back! Thank god! Oh my gosh Eddie! You have the magic lips!" Loren said smiling, and giving Eddie a long kiss.
