Chapter 6: One Mad Brother

Now I told you all about Ka'Nia older brother Kha'lil, he had a court date to attend to and Ka'Nia ask for Kiki and I to come with her. But the week before the court date, Ka'Nia recieved a phone call from Lil.

"Hey brother ."

"Sup frecklez "

Frecklez is the nickname only he get to call her by.

"Nothing doing a lil custom online shopping for my girlfriend Halloween sleep over party."

"true true thats wassup."

"So how you feelng?"

"I was chilling until I recieved a phone call that was real disturbing. .., AND YES IT WAS ABOUT YOU."

"People always talk shit Lil, who was it?"
"So when was you gonna tell me about you and tarell?"

Ka'Nia paused for a minute.

"huh? what you mean?

"KA'NIA STOP PLAYING WITH ME. I'M GIVING YOU A CHANCE TO COME CLEAN. "

Kha'lil was fuming with out with range. you can even hear his voice cracking as he block the tears.

"Lil I am so sorry.  I know I fucked up. but you gotta understand. I'm alone.  Mommy is not there ,she still blames me for what her boyfriend did to me. She hate you for killing him. You are my everything,  my rock ,my bestfriend, my leader,  my brother. I know you didn't fuck with tarell, its just that he was there at the time in need. Ka'Nia was having a nervous break down. She knows that he only snapping out on her is because he truely love and care about his sister. And the last thing he ever want is to know that someone hurts his sister, knowing that he cant do anything about it.

"Since you wanna know who told me... Ima tell you. But before I tell you lemme ask you this question. ... WHAT WAS THE 1ST THING I TAUGHT YOU ABOUT WHEN IT COMES TO GOING TO PLACES YOU KNOW WE AIN'T SAFE  AT?"

Ka'Nia was filled with anxiety and confused .

"Why?"

"Because while you was waiting at the bus stop who was there? "

"It was me. I was on the phone talking to patti and kiki about it. I ONLY TOLD THEM."

"Apparently not cause I FUCKIN FOUND OUT.  When you was at the stop do you remember a girl keep looking at you from the side? "

"Yeah kind to think of it. She had on all. black nike sweatsuit with he Nike hat."

"You know Laneesha right? Tarell babymom? THAT WAS HER. Neesha and I were fucking while she was with TARELL. And she was gonna leave his ass anyway waaayy before even us happened. Ka'Nia was so blind. She was completely angry with herself that she couldn't put two and two together.

"FRECKLEZ JUST PROMISE ME TO LEAVE THE MA FUCKA ALONE CAUSE IF ANYTHING HAPPENS TO YOU I DONT KNOW WHAT THE FUCK IM GOING TO DO.  YOU THE ONLY FAMILY I GOT. TELL ME ...TELL ME PLEASE. "

"I love you too freckles and tell patti and my boys Kayron and Rick that they push my fuckin court dat til November 15th, instead of next week."

The hourly call was ended. She called tarell one last time. It rang but his voicemail came up.

"Yo its rell leave a message "

"Listen after this ,you will never have to look at me, or even fuck with ever again. You had me killing my baby for you and you still fuckin these other bitches. Oh yeah and finally found out why you dont like my bother... CAUSE HE CAN FUCK YOUR BITCH BETTER THAN YOU. FUCK YOU TARELL. She hung up the phone with attitude.  She wiped away her tears as she rolled a fat dutch , played some beyonce classic hit "ME, MYSELF,  AND I". She was vibing to the music singing the lyrics "Me Myself and I is all I got to the end. Thats what I found out. And it ain't no need to cry , I took a vow and for now on Ima be my own bestfriend. "  From that moment, she really meant it when told kiki and I that she was DONE".
