prologue

Lisa or Lalisa Manoban is a 21- year old  Thai- Korean lady. Her parents died in a plane crash while going home from a business trip in Japan. After the death of their parents, their company experienced bankruptcy because Lisa was not trained for the job so now she should find a job immediately so that she and her little brother, Luhan Manoban can survive in the daily life basis.

Lisa POV
It had already been 2 years since our parents died and our company " Manobans Inc." suffered from bankruptcy. I am currently taking my shower because I really needed it now. I'm really frustrated because I cannot find any job offering for me. What do I expect? I don't have enough experience. I have recently been fired from my job as a waitress in a fancy restaurant last night. "Otoke (what to do)? Omma, Appa (mom, dad)... Why did you leave us? I still can't handle this. Duwajuseyo (help)." I muttered as I exited the bathroom and went to my makeup table. I tied my hair into a ponytail and didn't bother to put makeup on. After preparing myself, I went to my dongsaeng's room and wake him up. "Luhan... Wake up, you're going to be late for school... Ppali!!(hurry)" I said while shaking him. When I saw him already sitting up I stood up from his bed. "Meet me at the kitchen, ppali. I still need to find a job." I said and left his room, I proceeded to the kitchen and cooked us pancake. I also found some milk and syrup in the fridge. I can't believe I can still afford this things. "Joeun achimimnida (good morning) noona(older sister for a boy), what are we going to eat today?" A 9- year old boy already in a uniform said going down the stairs. "Annyeong (hello) Luhan, I made some pancakes and there's also milk. Now hurry up or you're gonna be late. And so that I can find a new job." I said already eating some pancakes. "Wow~ masidda~(delicious) gomawo (thank you, informal) noona..." Luhan said chewing. "But noona, didn't you already have 3 jobs? Why are you still looking for more?" Luhan asked so I immediately replied "I got fired from one last night and I need two more part- time jobs so that we can live" I said. Yup, I have 3 jobs, well 2 as of now. I'm always a waitress in cafés except for my recent job(which is in a fancy restaurant). You know why I always get fired? It's because I always get there late. Can't blame me, I have a lot to do and a lot of running too. "Okay noona, but please don't overwork yourself. Think about yourself sometimes too. If you're already tired well rest when you come back home and I will do all the chores for you." He said smiling. I smile back too knowing that my little brother is already matured at such a young age. "Well hurry up and finish that already, I will be at the living room, waiting for you".

After a while, I saw Luhan already walking towards me. " Let's go noona, I'm gonna be late..." Because of that I stood up and we are now exiting the front door. I locked it and we started walking towards a bus stop.

When i already dropped Luhan to school, I quickly walked to the seoul Town square (I don't know if there's such a place, just pretend there is for this story. Sorry guys) . Since there are a lot of stores here maybe I can find another part time job, with a different time.

After a while I successfully  entered  two more  jobs as waitress at cafés. The manager said I can start tommorow, I also excuse myself from  work today and my managers  understands  it.

So my schedule is:
7:00- 9:00 am- epiphany café
9:30 am - 12:00 pm- serendipity café
12:30- 4:30 pm- singularity café
4:30- 5:30 pm- break and Luhan's dismissal
6:00- 9:00 pm- euphoria café

Since I don't have work today I decided to head back home and rest just like what Luhan said. 'I guess also need to take a break and rest.' I thought then I drifted off to Dreamland.

After a good 4 hours of sleep, I woke up and head downstairs to start cleaning the house, good thing the house is not too big. I also decided to bake a cake because I got bored. Afterwards I took a nap.

~Kring Kring~
I woke up by the sound of my alarm meaning I have to go and fetch Luhan from school. I went upstairs and change into something then I started walking to his school since I think I could use some exercise. Once I arrived there, I saw him already waiting for me. He glanced my way and run to me while screaming "noona!", ' Aish.. this kid'. Remember  when I told you earlier that he's already matured well he could be childish too, sometimes. "How's your day lil'bro?" I asked once he approached me. "It's great. I passed our long quiz today in Science and English (Sana oll).  I also met my crush at the hallways." He said smiling. Yup, I know that Luhan already has a crush, he don't keep secrets from me. "Jinja?(really) Chukaheyo!!(congratulations)! What's the name of your crush again?" I asked him and he replied, "Jeon jungyeon, noona. She's just the same age as me". "Well I guess we should celebrate. Come on I'll buy you new clothes." I declared "Jinja? Yay!!" " Why you don't want to? Well then let's go home, i made a cake there" I said teasing him and  pretend that I'm already  walking home. " Ani!(no) Come noona, let's go" I'm grinning widely right now because his already pulling my arm towards the store across street. While walking he let go of me and cross by himself. When he reach the other side, he was waving at me and shouting. "Come on noona. Ppali!" 'kyeopta (cute)' I thought. Since I'm not walking he shouted again "I'll go there noona, wait for me". That's what he shouted before starting to walk but a car was speeding at his way and in no time

BUT. THE. DRIVER. DIDN'T. BOTHER. TO. STOP.

I quickly ran his way and carry him. I hailed a cab and went to the nearest hospital.

~time skip~
I'm still outside the emergency room, waiting for the doctor. Once I saw the doctor coming out of the room I immediately ran to her. "Doc, how's my brother?! Is he going to be okay?" I asked her with tears flowing from my eyes. " He's okay. His vital signs are stable but we still need to monitor him for maybe 2 weeks. We had already put him in a private room so that he can rest there. The damage is not that severe, only some bruises in the body. But we may consider giving him medicines for faster recovery." The doctor said and I heaved a sigh of relief. " Kamsahamnida uisa (doctor), but can I visit him right now?" I asked and she replied with "of course, his room is in 3rd floor no 305. I'll get going now. Please take care of him." " Alright jalgayo (goodbye) uisa (doctor)". After she left I quickly look for an elevator and ride it until I reach the 3rd floor. After a while, I found the room and entered it. There I break down into tears again, I saw my brothers body with a lot of wires, still unconscious. But the bigger problem here is about the expenses, u know that the money I'm earning right now isn't enough. I gotta find a new job with bigger salary. Because of all the stress I decided to go out and just leave a note beside him.

If you're looking for me right now I'm looking for another job so that we can pay your hospital bills. I might be gone for a few days so that I can work. Don't worry I'll visit you sooner or later or I'll just call one of my friends to check on you. Please recover very soon, I'm gonna miss you. Please be a good boy and take care of yourself okay.

I'm already in the streets. I'm not really looking for a job am I? Well I am but I can't find one. I found a bench and started walking there. 'Maybe I should rest first, I want to look fine when I meet my brother' I thought. Once I sat at the bench a man in black stood in front of me. He has this intimidating appeal that is telling you to 'do-not-mess-with-me-or-else'. I gulped because I'm so nervous right now. What did I do? I didn't do anything wrong, didn't I?

Anyways sorry if I still suck at writing stories. I'm just doing this for fun and recently many ideas for a new ff keep on popping in my head.
