"Shadow Killer"

Part 3: All Alone

*Groan* I wake up feeling sick to my stomach."Bret?", I yawned and stretched till I was finally awake."Bret?". I look to my side and didn't see my brother but rather instead I had seen a black trail of blood leading off to somewhere. "Uh oh". I quickly got up and began following the black bloody trail. "BRETTTT", With my hands cupped over my mouth I continued to yell out to my brother. I was walking around the back of the house and froze as I saw bloody words form words on the house wall. I began reading out loud to myself, "Go back to the tree". My blood immediately went Icy Cold. "Why?". "Why would it want me to go back to the....unless...". "BRET". I quickly sprinted back to the side of the house, *Pant* "BRET!". I stopped by the tree and started looking around. "Now...why did it say to go to the tree?". *Groan*. I stopped my head a looked back at the tree. "Huh? Bret?". I walk behind the tree,*Gasp*. There he was..Brets body was partically stuck inside the tree and yet he was unconscience which was sorta good otherwise he would be in a lot of pain. I stood and stared as I saw that his entire body was marked. A carving began forming onto his stomach, "He is dead". *Groan*. He sounds alive what does it mean that He's dea..!".*SHHHNK*.I saw a black line go across my brothers neck. Bret's own blood starts pouring out of his throat. The groaning stops and his body goes limp. "Oh no..". I quickly tried pulling him out to see if I can at least save his body. *GRUNT*, my hands slip. "I can't believe I can't at least save his body. I take off. Tears pouring from my eyes.(I'm all alone against a monster that will never stop till it kills me then reaches its next victim). I keep running and when I was far from the house I froze in terror as I saw a big,black, figure appear at the front door. I scream in terror as I could clearly tell that even from this distance that It was grinning.I take off running as soon as the monster disappeared. "I need to hurry and get into the nearest city".(I hope this nightmare ends). I took a second to catch my breath, and in doing so I notcied my shadow was strange. I look down and jumped, *AHHH*. The monster had written into the ground, "You can run, But i'll continue to torture you". Tears once again, burst from my eyes. "LEAVE ME ALONE". I took off towards a nearby city. "I hope I can get help *sniff*...maybe an excorist or whatever will help me with this thing i'm going up against. "Until I find help..and get rid of you...I swear Demon that you'll never get me".
