This short story was all Jin's point of view about his love for a girl and his feeling of fear of losing her.

The girl has a skin disorder where her skin is very sensitive when exposed to sunlight.
Think about the movie Midnight Sun :)

In the poems, he expresses how happy he is with her, and how he is fearing of the sunrise, because of her disorder.

Her condition became worse in day 30, alarming him that he is slowly losing her.

In the poem from day 250, he tells how he was inlove with her for 10 years and how she fell inlove with him for 3 years.
Meaning on his 7th year of falling in love with her, she fell for him.

In the story, they are 20 year-olds and they were childhood friends.

On day 500, it also hints that he wants to take his own life because what is the point of living when the person that you only love is nonexistent?

In day 1000, almost 3 years have passed, making him 22 years old. He debuted in a boy group that he is in, BTS, and realizes that he don't need her love only. He was loved by millions of people, which are his fans, and also his band members.
