Winter break was over, and now Louis and Harry were back in school. Neither of them minded, however, because they actually liked school.

When they were heading off to class, as they were in the same one, Harry noticed a particular poster on the billboard.

"Hey, look the talent show is coming up! Do you think I should join?" Harry asked and turn to Louis.

"Hmm, I guess? you've always said you wanted to be a singer, so why not?" Louis advised.

"I think you should join me!" Harry smiled.

"Eh, I don't know, I mean I like singing too, but in front of a crowd? I don't know. I guess I'll think about it."

"Well, I think we'd make a great team," Harry insisted.

When Louis got home, he could not stop thinking about whether or not he should join the talent show with Harry. He enjoyed singing, but he never really felt comfortable being the center of attention. It was a really hard decision. Plus, he didn't even think he was good enough, he just liked singing. His thoughts were then interrupted by the shatter of something coming from the other side of his house. He jumped at the sound that was later followed by shouts from his parents. He didn't know what was going on, but he was confused by it. It has been going on for a few days now, his parents arguing over the smallest things and then turning into a shouting contest. He was scared by what was going on, so he hid in his room, and tried to avoid the big scene happening.

Everyday now, when he got home, it was always some kind of argument his parents were involved in, but he tried to not mind, even though he felt sad inside. However, he decided to think whether or not to join the talent show with Harry.

When he finally decided to be in the talent show with Harry, he couldn't wait to tell his mom the exciting news, however he got news as well when he got home. He was enetering the house, and when he saw his mother inside the kitchen, she was sitting on the table, both or hands on her temples, and she seemed...worried, but Louis didn't know about what.

" Mum! Mum! Guess what?!" Louis excitedly shouted as he walked inside.

His mother faced him, and she had the most disappointing look on her face. Louis the dropped the stort, and asked her if she was okay.

"I'm sorry, honey, but I have something to tell you. Your father and I got into a... disagreement, and things couldn't work out, so we've decided to part ways, because it will be better for both of us. He will live here, but we... have to move, because of some financial issues, I can't afford to stay here. So we'll be moving in with grandma.  I'm sorry, but we'll make the best of it. Once things get situated, I can promise you everything will be fine, but for now, this is what we must do," his mother informed him.

"We have to move? Out?"

"Yes, with grandma. In Doncaster."

"But.. but, what about school? I wad just going to join the school play! What about Harry? My best friend!" Louis was almost in tears.

"Oh, you were going to join the school play?"

"Yeah, with Harry."

"I'm sorry. But I'm sure you'll make more friends in Doncaster.  And the school is better, there's more activities that you'll enjoy!"

"But...ok," Louis wanted to argue, but stopped, because he knew he wasn't going to win this battle. That was it. He was moving. Far away from Chesire. Far away from school. Far away from his dad. Most importantly far away from Harry.
