Louis didn't know what to do next. How was he going to tell Harry that he was moving and can no longer stay and do the play? His mother told him it was best he told him, and not have to hear it from his mother. He thought about telling him tomorrow, and break it to him slowly. He didn't to leave want to leave Harry behind, because he was his best friend, since pre-k.
The next day, when he saw him during recess, he wanted to pretend he wasn't going to move, and just tell him what he planned on telling him before he found out he was moving. He wanted to tell him the good news, that he has decided to be in the play with him, but he knew he had to tell him the bad news either way. He saw Harry, in his blue jacket, and ran towards him. He was about to join a soccer game with his other friends, but Louis caught him in time to tell him he news.
"Hey, Harry!"
"Oh, hey Louis!" Harry waved.
"I... uh, gotta tell you something?"
"What is it?"
"I.. I want to be in the play with you?" Louis panicked, and faked a smile. He knew he had to tell him the bad news eventually, but he didn't know how.
"Oh, that's cool! We will rule that show! Do you want to play soccer with Liam and Ed?"
"Uh, sure!"
Louis decided he will tell him, but he has to find the right time. But he had to do it soon, because he was moving in a week. Another recess passed, and Louis still hasn't told him. The clock was ticking, and time was running out, and he had yet to tell him.
It was now after school, and today, they took the bus home. As always, they sat next to each other, and Louis thought this was time to tell him. They were joking and laughing, until Louis stopped home self, and got into a serious mode when he realized he had to tell him now or never.
"Uh, Harry, can I tell you something else?"
Harry nodded.
"I.. I...um, I'm...moving," Louis stuttered.
"No, stop playing, really tell me,"
"I did, I'm not playing, I really am moving. To Doncaster, I think. For some reason my mom wanted to move there, and I can't do anything about it. I'm sorry," Louis tried to hide the fact that he was about to cry when he saw the sad look in Harry's eyes.
"No, it's okay. I'm sure it's for the best," Harry tried to stay positive.
"But that means...nevermind," Louis stopped when he saw they were at Harry's house, and since his was walking distance, he got out with him as well.
He was moving out in a week means he'll have one more week with Harry. Unfortunately, he was not going to be there for the talent show. He sighed at the thought he won't be here anymore. He wishes his parents would work things out and not have to move. Before he moves out, he wanted to make sure Harry would remember him, so he gave him a picture of them that be had in his pocket. However, Harry refused. Because he wanted Louis to remember him as well. Louis said he'll always remember him, but Harry continued to insist to keep it. Then Harry thought about splitting the picture. He gave one half to Louis, and the half with Louis, he kept it to himself.
They then hugged, but didn't want up let go. Both were about to tear up, then Louis said, " You'll always be in my heart, Harry, you're my best friend," he smiled, "Forever."
[A/N] I'm sorry I couldn't post yesterday, but so much has been going on. My phone charger broke, so I can't use my phone until I get a new one and I haven't been able to, so I have to use my ipod, and i have been studying last minute for the SATs tomorrow, but I have been writing, I just need to review them, and I haven't had time. Tomorrow I'll do double update to make up for Friday's plus the one for Saturday.
