Harry was so grateful for his heat only lasting a day and a half.  It meant he could return to school work and his friends sooner than the other Omegas.  He was a bit saddened by missing Hermione's return but at least he'd see her and Ron both at breakfast.  Harry stepped outside of his shower and dried off his hair quickly.  He hummed to himself stepping out into the dorms only to be greeted by no one.  Ron must've went to escort Hermione, Harry smiled at the thought.  He couldn't wait for Ron to ask to court her and get it over with already.   Once dressed Harry slipped on his shoes and grabbed his wand before heading to the door.  Closing it behind him he turned to find Draco leaning against the opposite wall.  Oh right, he was courting the Omega.  It had slipped Harry's mind this morning but the blush still clung to his cheeks despite already knowing it was just a façade.

"Morning," Harry spoke slipping his wand in his pocket.  He came to stand in front of the Alpha and Draco to his surprise flashed a small closed mouth smile at him.  It sent fireworks off inside the Omega's mind.

"Morning," Draco repeated his eyes floating up and down Harry.  Harry felt his confidence sizzle at the Alpha's gaze.  "Did you eat during your heat?"  Harry paused at the question.  It wasn't uncommon for people to forget to eat during ruts or heats but usually family or their mate reminded them.

"No, I didn't."  Harry spoke watching Draco's gaze sharpen.

"You're going to get sick if you don't eat."  Draco spoke aggressively.  Last time Harry checked the Alpha had called him fat for an Omega and know he wanted him to eat more.  This damn Alpha is so confusing.   "Next time your close to your heat tell me, I should've given you something for your nest."  The fireworks ignited again and Harry rubbed at the back of his neck.  He'd only ever had Ron and Hermione offer him pieces of their clothing for his nest.  Harry actually liked the idea of having something of Draco's in there as well.

"Okay," Harry said giving a faint smile to the Alpha.  Maybe this courtship wasn't just a scapegoat for Harry.  Well the Omega hoped it wasn't.

"You see that wolf thing anymore?"  Draco asked pushing himself off of the wall.  He started off in the direction of the cafeteria.

"I saw him the day before I started my heat."  Harry responded jogging to catch up.  "Why?"  Harry asked looking down at his feet.

"Well that creature could be dangerous and if I'm courting you I have to worry about your safety."  Draco spoke biting back his own laughter.  Harry felt protectiveness over Dragon slither up into his chest.

"Dragon isn't a danger to be around!"  Harry defended throwing a glare like ice at Draco.  This time the Alpha did laugh briefly.

"You named it?" Draco's grey eyes glinted with tease. "What's next a collar?" Harry felt embarrassment further bury itself into his bones.

"He did let me pet him so maybe," Harry spoke softly and Draco tensed. A blush darker than Harry's own made its way onto the tips of the Alpha's ears and back of his neck. Had Harry said something wrong?

"Promise me you won't buy that wolf a collar." Draco sighed out trying to keep his gaze on the floor. Harry didn't understand what was so weird about a collar.

"Fine I guess," Harry mumbled to himself.

"Thank Merlin," Draco whispered but Harry heard it. He had no idea what was so bad about a collar.
"There was another wolf last time," Harry spoke as they turned down a new hallway. "She was all red and had a gold tint to her fur." Draco nodded keeping his gaze on the ground. "She looked like a Fox compared to how big Dragon is." Harry said and Draco began to laugh uncontrollably. Harry stopped in the middle of the hallway as the Alpha bent over, laughter rocked his body. He'd never seen Draco in this much of a good mood and Harry was enjoying it.
