Harry was shoved behind the Alpha before he could even feel the panic slither up into his chest.   Draco's gaze sharpened and he felt his anger grow and Vincent merely laughed.

"It's so touching to see a Alpha protecting his Omega."  Vincent spoke, walking to his bed and opening his trunk.   He pulled out a jumper and slipped it on slowly.   Draco's body never let the tension leave his muscles.

"He's not my Alpha," Harry spat moving to step in front of Draco.  His inner Omega huffed in annoyance of Harry's declaration.  Of course he wanted to at least be courted by the quick tongued blonde but he'd never admit it out loud.   Draco felt his confidence squish at the harshness in the Omega's voice.  Maybe last night had just been a drunken mistake?

"Then you're free to be courted?" Vincent asked stepping closer to the Omega.  Draco stuck out his arm between the two as a safety measure.  "Then I'll make sure to start courting you now."  Vincent glared at Draco.  Laws stated that any Omega not being courted or mated can't refuse the courting attempts from an Alpha if no harm was done to the Omega.

"Harry?"  Draco asked between clenched teeth.  He refused to let this slimy prat win.  Harry turned to lock eyes with the Alpha, fear in his green eyes evident.   "May I court you?"  Draco asked giving the Omega a 'trust me' look.   His inner Alpha seemed to dance at the thought of beginning a courtship with the Omega even if it was one sided.

"Yes," Harry delicately said trying to hide his flushed face.   His inner Omega really shouldn't be looking too much into Draco trying to get Vincent off his case.

"As the accepted courting Alpha," Draco spoke grabbing Harry's hand electric sparks followed. His canines were elongated and shown as a threat.   Vincent rolled his eyes and bit back the urge to punch the blonde.   "I suggest you leave our courtship alone."  Draco turned to lead Harry to the door of the dorms.  He turned back lifting his upper lip to flash his canines at Vincent who gulped down his fear.   "Or you can challenge me," Draco finished the sentence with a growl before pushing Harry out into the hallway.  Draco kept pushing forward and pulling the Omega at a face pace.  Harry almost tripped over his own two feet twice before Draco slowed down.   "Sorry, but I'm going to actually court you until he backs off."  Harry looked down at their still locked hands and sighed.  Maybe this wouldn't be so bad.

"Okay Alpha," Harry joked and the word sent a array of thoughts to Draco he shouldn't be having right now.  Shaking his head they turned down another hallway.   "Who was that girl?"  Harry asked keeping his gaze on the floor.  He prayed he wasn't interrupting another courtship with his need to be rescued.  If he was he could have Ron take Draco's place.

"My cousin, Isabelle.  Why?"  Draco asked feigning ignorance.  He hoped Harry hadn't heard their whole conversation.

"She called you a Prince, why?"  Fuck Isabelle is all Draco could think.  Looking down the hallway he came up with a great solution.

"I'm such a brat I've earned myself that nickname."  The Alpha rushed out laughing very manually.  Harry picked up on the nervousness in his voice and decided he'd press the matter later on.

"So what's a 'fated'?"  Harry asked as they turned down the cafeteria hallway.

"It's a folk tale, my cousin believes in is all."  Draco lied again and they came to the cafeteria door.  Harry was growing too suspicious.   "I'll sit with you for now," Draco spoke as all eyes fell on the two and their locked hands.  Blaise and Pansy choked on their orange juice and Ron bit his tongue instead of his toast.  Harry sat beside the ginger and Draco on the other side of the Omega.
