momo opened the door for jeongyeon once she arrived and ran upstairs. her heart shattered when she saw her girlfriend curled into a ball under the sheets, sniffling every now and then.

she walked over to her and tapped nayeon, who make space for her. jeongyeon took off her coat and went onto her bed, wrapping her arms around her girlfriend, who was warm.

jeongyeon cooed her, rubbing small circles on her arm as she silently sobbed. she whispered comforting words, softly playing with her hair and massaging her scalp. after a while, nayeon turned around and gave her a teary smile, hugging her tightly. jeongyeon kissed her and smiled back, brushing away a piece of hair on her face.

"thank you."

"you don't need to thank me. i just want you to be happy and okay." jeongyeon assured, interlocking hands with nayeon.

"i appreciate you so much, jeong. as a best friend, as a girlfriend. you're the best person ever." she giggles, bringing her hand to her lips and kissing it.

"i love you."
