lab rats: chase gets injured

Spike pt. 2

Davenport's pov:
All of the sudden a light buzzing was heard. Crap. That means Chase is coming back and unfortunately, Chase feels pain. "OWWWWWWWWW!" Chase screamed. And then what I didn't expect to happen, happened. Chase was on the floor, sobbing. Now Chase has a high pain tolerance, as do Adam and Bree. I haven't seen him cry since Adam punched him in his no-go zone. "Mr. Davenport it hurts!" He said between sobs. "Alright Adam pick him up-" As soon as Adam slung him over his shoulder Chase SCREAMED at the top of his lungs,causing Adam to drop him. "CAREFULLY!" I shout. Once we finally got Chase to the infirmary, I told Adam and Bree to go, for I knew they had to re-set his knee. Which by the way is extremely painful. I decided that I would stay back for this one. while Chase is still sobbing, the nurse comes in. "So you say he dislocated his leg with the torn ACL?" "Yes ma'am. " I answer. "Alright Chase i'm gonna touch your knee and your gonna tell me if this hurts okay?" Chase nodded, wiping his eyes. The nurse gently pressed on his knee before he screamed out in bloody murder. "ooh. That's not good Alright what about here?" This went on for a few minuets, him screaming every time. At the end of his exam, I was sitting next to him in a chair with him on a bed and his head on my shoulder. The nurse returned with a notepad. "Because he failed his exam, I recommend another round of surgery." I nodded. "But before then, I gotta re-set your knee buddy. " "What!" Chase shouted. She grabbed a cloth and put it in his mouth. "Bite down on it when you feel pain. Ready?" Chase frantically shook his head no when the nurse re-set his knee. At the end of this I decided to remove his chip for the night so we can let him sleep in an actual bed. "Good night Chase, see you in the morning. " I said. He looked at me with his red, puffy eyes. "Gnight."
